Fox and Bird Retreat on Davis Stream

Our off-the-grid, solar-powered cottage is nestled within our 18 acres in the town of Washington, Maine. The cottage borders a beautiful stream, is surrounded by tall pines and is several hundred feet away from our home, providing a very private and serene experience. Guests can wander or snowshoe on our property, relax in the screen house next to the cottage or hang by the accessible fire pit. We are close to many local lakes and hiking trails and only 30 minutes from Camden & Rockland.

Unwind as you take a leisurely 2-minute walk to the dock on Great Pond, complete with private boat launch. Whether you yearn for lakeside serenity or a round of golf, this retreat is your ultimate haven!

Riverside

Overlooking Kennebec River, Riverside is a perfect setting. Open 365 days per year; 2BR, 1 BA, kitchen, DR/common area. Situates 6 comfortably, 8 with use of floor mattresses. Renovated, open concept, our home is wheelchair accessible with a wide range of amenities for disabled. We accept Service dogs and will consider family dogs and other pets on a case-by-case; please ask. Owners reside on property in separate building. Outdoor trail cameras in use to monitor exterior of residence only.

Be all alone on this remote island with 1400 acres of Annabessacook Lake as your backyard. It's the Micro Island featured in Jon B. 2022 videos. Enjoy pristine surroundings, a rustic, off-the-grid log cabin, with solar lighting and a hot shower. Swimming, boating, fishing, birding, and relaxing by the fire - do it all (or not).
