Clean and well equipped. Easy walk to the seafront, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Outside space is a sun trap. No loo on ground floor and a couple of ground floor steps, it was only an issue for us as two of our party had mobility issues. We were aware before we booked and chose location over the need to help family up and down stairs.

I had an amazing stay at this property! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities I needed were provided. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful—check-in was smooth, The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Das Zimmer mit Bad und Küche war total schön, gemütlich, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Haben es leider nur 1 Nacht genießen können. Zentrale Lage für Bus, Bahn, Fähre. Diets war im Kontakt sehr angenehm und zuverlässig.

We loved our stay in this cozy little gem. My 9 year old was delighted with all of the cool features ‘The disco ball! The flashing lights!’ It lived up to the photos and our expectations and was a lovely relaxing place to spend a few days. We didn’t meet the host but instructions given were very clear and messages answered very quickly. Highly recommend and will be back!

This is a lovely spacious house in a great location for the coast. 2 living rooms make it good for groups or extended family gatherings. Kitchen is well equipped and the garden is a lovely extra space in good weather. Jill and Ben are friendly responsive hosts and gave helpful advice on the locality. We loved swimming and meal at Saltdean Lido and coastal walks from South Hill Barn.

From the moment we were enthusiastically welcomed at the door by Calypso, we knew we were going to have a happy week in Portslade. Both cats were very friendly and affectionate with all of us, making it a home from home for a family of four with two small boys. The home offers plenty of room for a getaway and has all the amenities you'd normally need if you were at home. Our elder son appreciated having a climbing frame in his room too! The pub next door was missing some of its fencing while we were staying, which removed a bit of privacy from the back garden, but thankfully when we were indoors we didn't notice any of the noise or smoke from the beer garden unless we had the back windows open. Our boys loved having open access to football pitches behind the pub. Parking was usually ok nearby but we struggled for a space one evening when there was a big event at the nearby Hindu temple. Bus and train connections into places like Brighton, Hove and Worthing were excellent.

This is a very nice cute old cottage. If you expect that, and not Four Seasons - you'll love it. It's very livable and enjoyable. The fireplace that Sara prepared for us was such a nice touch. Sara's communication has been superb - I'm sure we'll come back to her place!

A few words aren’t enough! Helen and Kevin’s place lived beyond our expectations. With beautiful surroundings on our doorstep; forests, beaches and beautiful woodland! Nothing was too much for our hosts who went above and beyond. We will definitely be back and there was so much more to explore. Perfect getaway not far from London; we didn’t want to come home! I need to note the bedroom is blissful, the bed was super comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. Also, Kevin’s bread 🍞 was *chefs kiss* Thank you again. We hope to see you again soon! Jenny is a lovely, kind and very proactive host. The apartment is absolutely stunning, very private and easy to locate. Short walk to the beach. Lots of little details from host that were very much appreciated. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

A lovely little flat right in the middle of the laines. We had a great stay. The flat is gorgeous and the hosts were very accommodating with some really nice treats left for us. The ladies at the Flower Pot were also super friendly and helpful: thank you so much!

we just spend a great weekend at Jason's place. the flat is in a quiet residential area, away from the noise but with restaurants, parks and playgrounds in easy walking distance. the kids absolutely loved all the toys, and the garden. Jason sent clear instructions, and left some essentials for us which we really appreciated. all around a great stay!

Richard is a wonderful host, very thoughtful and going above and beyond that of a host. We asked for an early checkin which he was happy to accommodate, even offered to pick up my partner from the bus station, very sweet. The ‘savants quarters’ as he calls it were delightful, the view was amazing and we had a really comfortable stay. As Richard and his wife were away for the week we also had access to the kitchen which was lovely. We would recommend Richards place to anyone. Thanks again, Danielle

Schon vor der Anreise war die Kommunikation mit Matt ganz fantastisch: er schreibt im Vorfeld genau, wie man seinen Aufenthalt planen kann, wo ein Parkplatz ist, wo die Schlüssel für die Wohnung zu finden sind. Auch gibt er Tipps und Hinweise, wo in der Umgebung Ausflugsziele, Sehenswürdigkeiten, empfehlenswerte Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu finden sind. Das Appartement ist wunderschön gelegen. Wir haben jeden Morgen mit Blick aufs Meer gefrühstückt. Die Wohnung ist makellos sauber und super ausgestattet. Wir haben alles vorgefunden, was wir brauchten (mehr als das: selbst ein Fön, den wir zuhause vergessen haben, haben wir in der Wohnung gefunden). Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt und haben viele von Matts Vorschläge umgesetzt und so viele tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugsziele in der Region besucht. Danke dafür - es war wunderbar!

Fantastic location so close to the beach and pier. A really cosy and interesting flat which was lovely to come back to after a day exploring Brighton. We parked on Madeira Drive for the weekend which wasn’t very expensive and was close by. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, quiet area, beautiful views. You have everything you need and more, very well equipped, feels like home the minute you walk in. Parking space off the road is a great addition. Perfect host, responds very quick and close by. Breakfast items were a nice touch. Enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Highly recommended !

From the moment I stepped into the house and met the host Jane, everything felt warm and welcoming. Jane is an incredibly nice and kind person. She proactively ask if I needed any help and kindly introduced places to visit nearby. She even invited me to attend her friend’s birthday dinner. Every morning, she thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast, including fruit salad, toast, coffee and more. Location: It was very easy to find the house by following the map from the train station. The room is located in a small alley just off the main street in the heart of Lewes, surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafés. The weekend farmer’s market is just a one-minute walk away. I saw someone asking whether the house is warm enough — don’t worry. It can be chilly in Lewes during spring, but Jane keeps the heating on all the time. If you still feel cold, there's also a portable heater available. I didn’t need to use it, because it was already warm enough. I really loved staying here.

Wir hatten Pech mit der Anreise konnten aber dann flexibel anreisen! Der Empfang war freundlich! Zimmer ist ausreichend groß und vom Fenster aus hat man einen schönen Blick über die Gärten; das Bad ist groß ind kann durch Fenster gelüftet werden. Das Frühstück ist einfach, weiches Brot mit Butter und Marmelade, Kekse, Tee und Instantkaffee, Früchte Milch und Saft! Es muss auf dem Zimmer eingenommen werden. In der Nähenist ein Pub, dass bietet Mittagessen und Abendessen an! In der Stadt kann man Frühstücken, je nach Anbieter 10-20 Minuten zu Fuß! Uber Taxi aus der Stadt kostet 9 Pfund! Bahnhof ist um die Ecke!

Andrew is a super experienced host and he makes everything he can to let you feel at home. He's keen of his home and the surrounding area, which is pristine and enjoyable. Have had a pleasant staying.

Mark was a wonderful host. Very friendly and made us feel right at home straight away. Mark had a great knowledge of the area and we enjoyed great conversations over breakfast. The house is lovely and as described, thoroughly recommend Mark as a host.

Had a wonderful stay! The room was bright and cozy, located in the attic, offering a lovely sense of privacy even though it was part of the same house. It was perfect for three people — comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. We also really appreciated the generous vegan breakfast provided, tailored to our dietary requirements. This was our first time using Airbnb, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Rachel and Morgan were super helpful and made us feel very welcome. On top of that, everything was very reasonably priced, especially considering there was no minimum two-night stay requirement like many other places. It truly made the stay even better. I was visiting Rottingdean for a birthday celebration in the village. Petrina’s communications before the visit about possible checking times were helpful. She is an excellent and friendly host and the accommodation was just perfect.
