Tawny Owl Barn

Tawny Owl Barn is a 200-year-old, grade 2 listed, tastefully converted barn in the village of Leintwardine. A large garden is available for our guests which has a wildlife pond and waterfall and another barn with an open fire available for sitting around. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, and well-equipped. There is a large kitchen/diner and lounge plus two bedrooms with en-suites. A large lounge settee can also be used as a double bed. There are two pubs and shop within walking distance.

This brand new unique 2022 log cabin is a thing of beauty. Wood work at its finest. Sitting on stilts, set into the hillside of the Onny Valley, the eye-catching glossy cedar pops against the countryside greens. 2 magnificent rooted logs embrace the entrance to the staircase with curvy blonde oak rails enticing you into the cabin. Nestled in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills, on the edge of a working farm, the Ludlow Pod is one of three luxury pods (view others on my profile). With plenty of scenic walks from the door, this cosy pod provides the perfect escape to relax and unwind. The accommodation has been individually designed and furnished in a bespoke style, including a hot tub, wet room and cooking facilities. Luxury 100% cotton bed linen, towels and robes are provided, along with a few basic supplies.

Upstairs has a fully fitted kitchen, including all utensils for self-catering and a comfortable dining and lounge area, with Smart TV. The annex is surrounded by scenic views of the Shropshire Hills. Our holiday apartment occupies the top floor of the Old Vicarage, a grade 2 listed Georgian house with much older roots, located directly behind the church of St John the Baptist in the heart of the historic market town of Bishops Castle. From its lofty location guests can enjoy far reaching views over the town and hills beyond. Only a few steps to the nearest pub, shops, eateries and with immediate access to the Shropshire Way and many other walking and cycling routes.

Lydham Heath Railway Carriage

Lydham Heath Railway Carriage is at The Foxholes Campsite. The view is special, looking out towards the stunning views of the Stiperstones, LongMynd and beyond. The carriage is 50m from the shropshire way footpath, ideal for walkers looking to make the most of the South Shropshire hills. The Railway Carriage sleeps two, with a king sized bed and is dog friendly. Basic facilities; cold water tap, double induction hob, Airfryer, fridge/freezer, TV and electric heater.

One of two Beautiful apartments ( this one is on the ground floor but is up a couple of steps so it is probably unsuitable for wheelchairs) in the historic Porch House; a 16th century grade II* listed timber framed town house in the centre of Bishops Castle, opposite a pub with lively music nights. The apartment has a super king size bed and room to take bicycles in the anteroom. Apartment 2 is under a separate listing.
