Gristmill Springs Nestled in the high peaks region of the Adirondacks, our cottage boasts views of the Cascade Range and Hurricane Mountain. We are minutes from downtown Keene and local hiking trails. We offer a fully-outfitted kitchen and a living room with working fireplace. We have a stereo system with turntable and a collection of LP’s from the 70’s and 80’s. In the warm weather, enjoy the outdoor shower! Situated directly by the Ausable River and surrounded by beautiful vineyards and gardens you will be immersed in nature at any time if the year. It's sure to restore the soul. The gentle rumble of the river is ever present as you look out over the natural beauty. During the summer cool off in the river and come back to the screened in porch for an evening meal. In the winter fire up the pellet stove and get cozy. 15 minutes to Whiteface and Keene and 25 Minutes to Lake Placid.

Peaceful Adirondack Cabin right on John's Brook

This cabin is set in a gorgeous, tree-rimmed meadow directly on John's Brook, just 1/2 mile from the village of Keene Valley. Miles of trails are outside your door for your summer or winter enjoyment. Fly fish in the brook just steps from the house or climb Marcy and the range from the front door! The cabin is cozy in the winter with wifi, a fully equipped kitchen and modern amenities. You will enjoy the entire property to yourself in a truly serene setting.

Cascade Brook Cabin

Four season log cabin in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks region. The cabin is located on 7 private acres next to a beautiful stream that flows down from Cascade Lake. Both Porter and Cascade Mountain trailheads are less than a mile away and are on the 46 High Peaks register. Close proximity to hiking adventures for all abilities- biking trails, fishing, swimming, canoeing and during the winter months: downhill and cross-country ski activities.

Silver Bear Cabin, 15 minutes from Whiteface!

This cabin is in the heart of the high peaks, 15 minutes from Whiteface, and 15 minutes from Lake Placid. It is nestled on a hill right off the main road, overlooking the village of Keene! It is within walking distance from all of the shops in town. Although the driveway is plowed, it is steep, so in the winter you will need four wheel drive. The cabin is off Rt 73, but it is tucked away and very private! You don’t see any neighbors!

The neighborhood includes private hiking/X-Country skiing trails, open space with a lake, and Ausable River access.

The Trailhead

Our guest suite is located on our small horse farm in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The space has a cozy rustic charm, and has everything you’ll need for a quiet mountain getaway in any season. We are located right at the entrance of the Blueberry Hill Trails, a 1000-acre trail system designed for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Head out the door and you're right on the trails.
