Our home & 4 yr old fully self-contained cottage is on a 0.9 hectare (2.3 acre) "lifestyle" property in the country but is only 5 mins drive from the University and 4 local schools, our local supermarket, post office and food outlets. We are also 15 mins drive from Hamilton central business district (CBD), the Hospital and Wintec in one direction and the Airport in the other direction. We do NOT charge separate cleaning fees (NB when comparing), offer a 25% discount for 1 week, 35% per month.

There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Escape the hustle and bustle; relax and unwind in the sleepy harbour town of Kawhia. An easy 2.5 hr drive from Auckland. Kahurangi cottage is the perfect accommodation in Kawhia from which to explore the area. You can drive to Waitomo caves in 1.5 hrs away along a scenic, winding road. Ocean beach is 5 km away, where you can soak in Te Puia hot springs at low tide. Kawhia is known for its annual Kai festival on Waitangi weekend and whaleboat racing on New Year's day.
