Udawatta Kele- 3.5km Historic forest reserve on a hill-ridge in the city of Kandy. Famous for its extensive range of animal and tropical plant species. Peradeniya Botanical Gardens-5km Another must visit- Largest botanical gardens in Sri and rated one of the best in Asia Embekke- 15km An ancient temple visited by many for its superb wooden architectural structure and carvings. Lanka Thilaka- 15km An ancient temple with murals and impressive Buddhist architecture.
