This 2-floor Machiya (100sq.m.) located near Nijo Castle, 10min walk from Nijo Sta. can fulfill all your imagination about Kyoto, with traditional garden, tatami rooms, and semi-open bathtub. The garden follows Japanese philosophy of seasons, with sakura blossom in spring, little pond surrounded by greens in summer, red maple in autumn, and snow on Japanese black pine in winter. We offer four bicycles free of charge for you to explore the charming backstreets that buses cannot reach. Additionally, for long stay guests , we provide a complimentary shuttle service to or from Kyoto Station upon request.
