Welcome to Hovey Metal and ‘wild and scenic’ northeast Tennessee! We are excited to share this beautiful, active area within minutes of the Appalachian Trail, Nolichucky River and Cherokee Natl Forest! The house with all amenities is nestled in Bailey Hollow close to Rte 26 between Asheville NC and Johnson City TN. Outdoor activities including hiking, rafting. Festivals, charming downtown Erwin, 30 minutes to historic Jonesborough with the Intl Storytelling Center and Bristol Motor Speedway.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Enjoy this quaint 1 BR apartment in a family neighborhood in the Tree Streets historic district. The space is newly renovated, full of light, and is completely private and quiet - with an extra sleeper sofa. On the second floor. A short walk to the heart of JC or to the ETSU campus. This space is perfect for a single person, or a couple traveling with or without a child, and has everything you need to settle in for a night or two, or a week or two. Easy in, easy out. Private patio and grill.

Chestnut Ridge Retreat

Guest love the peace and the views here at our retreat. Enjoy a morning or evening in the hot tub, sun on the pool deck and swim in warm weather. Relax by the fireplace or fire pit (roast some s’mores). Walk the property to see the chickens, horse, donkey and goats. At our farm we love diversity, support all love, and don’t think that hate makes America great - if you don’t agree we may not be the destination for you. We have added a small chair that converts to a bed- we can squeeze 3 in.

We are dog friendly and also offer guests private river access to the Watuaga River 1/2 mile down the road

Come stay at this newly remodeled home located less than a mile away from the Johnson City Medical Center! This cute bungalow is perfect for travel nurses or contractors looking for a place for a long term stay. New! The basement is now available as your personal laundromat with 5 washers and 5 dryers! I occasionally swing by to do linens for this Airbnb and one other that I have when it turns, and the basement is completely separated from the house with its own exterior door for access.

Blue Haven Authentic Log Cabin near Bristol

Nestled among the trees, Blue Haven Log Cabin sits atop a sloping hill and welcomes those looking for that perfect getaway to connect with loved ones either on the large front porch with a view of the mountains or on the patio below. A stone fireplace and rustic furniture gives it a sense of days gone by . The large stained glass window at the eave of a 22 foot cathedral ceiling cast every hue of blue onto the ceiling, loft and floor at different times of day. Host next door if needed.

Watauga River Cottage in Johnson City, TN

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly water front river cottage (Approximately 1,700sf)! Bring your fishing pole and relax! We have Kayaks and life jackets available upon request at no charge (life jackets required!). Enjoy some time on the hammocks by the river or step into the hot tub on the deck over looking the river. Please note we do have a video camera overlooking the driveway as well as overlooking the stairway and river bank below the river cottage.

Nestled less than a mile from the South Holston River, renowned for its superb trout fishing, and just a stone's throw away from the electrifying Bristol Motor Speedway. (Also less then a mile away) Step onto our rooftop deck, Challenge your friends to a game of ping pong, soak away your worries in the hot tub, or enjoy the oversized versions of Connect 4, Corn Hole, Checkers, and Jenga. Practice your putting skills on our small green while soaking in panoramic views.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this rustic and romantic spot in nature. Our fishing cottage is located on our 40 acres farm with 800 ft of Watauga riverfront access. Paved driveways to cottage and river. Home is recently renovated with all new furniture, beds, appliances and more. Linens, paper products, and toiletries provided. Everything you need to enjoy a fishing trip or romantic getaway. This home is on a working farm. Expect contact with animals.

Quiet cottage in town

Guest cottage on a large, quiet lot in town. Convenient to ETSU, Mountain Home VA, Johnson City Medical Center, and just minutes from downtown Johnson City or Historic Jonesborough. This is a stand-alone tiny house that shares a driveway with my home. The cottage has a full bath with laundry, kitchen, a queen bed in the main bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. Ample off street parking for bigger vehicles or those pulling a trailer.
