Our yurt at Stillhouse Farm offers a private setting. Less than 5 miles from W&L+VMI. The spring fed creek can be heard from the deck along with owls, turkey, and other wildlife. Plenty of outdoor space on the deck, outdoor fireplace, and under pavilion. The high speed internet makes for an ideal getaway where you can still work, if necessary. Farmstay on a 14 acre farm Queen bed loft upstairs. Down stairs has a bathroom, kitchen with sink, stove, oven, microwave, and complimentary kitchen-cups . There is a twin sleeper sofa in living room. Front and back porch, wireless internet and RukuTv. 14 acre farm with walking trails, old mill and creek. Cleaning fee $50 and Pet fee $25 day. Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Black Water Junction Cabin

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.
