Lower level holds second bedroom with brand new queen bed, bathroom and living area with trundle bed sleeps two and electric fireplace.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Relax in the sauna after a day filled with hiking and an al fresco meal on the deck. Roast s’mores at the deck fire table or over the side yard fire pit. Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

The Cabin at Morris Orchard.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in our early 1800’s log cabin. The Cabin sits at the heart of Morris Orchard, a Virginia Century Farm. From the cabin porch, you will look across the pond and enjoy a view of High Peak Mountain, apple orchards, hayfields, and cattle grazing in the pastures. The cabin has been beautifully renovated, preserving the charm and history of the cabin, while adding all the modern amenities you would expect.
