Welcome to Deer Hideout Retreat! We are located in Palmyra, Virginia, on two acres of land. There's an abundance to see and to do around here, and we hope you choose our home for your stay. We are far enough outside of the city to enjoy the peace and quiet, but just a short drive to all the action. We are close to Monticello, James Monroe's Highland and 28 minutes away from the city center of historic Charlottesville. There are plenty of vineyards all around us and a couple of orchards, too.

Three Birds Cottage, Family Vacation house

Our 100 year old home, nestled in the heart of Colonial Beach, where Coastal farmhouse decor creates a warm and inviting space. With plenty of room to accommodate up to 10 guests, it’s the perfect spot for your family getaway. Just 800 feet from the sandy beach and within walking distance of charming shops, delicious restaurants, and the pier, The fenced backyard is great for kids and pets, featuring a playhouse, a covered picnic area, a gas grill, and a fire pit for making memories.

Built in 2019, our home was designed to make our guests' stay enjoyable. In 2023 a Grotto waterfall feature was added with surrounding 3-foot pond. There are two master bedrooms with walk-in showers, as well as a lovely play set in the back yard. The 1st floor master closet was converted into a simple nursery with a crib and baby swing. The master bedroom on the 2nd floor has a queen size bed for parents and a space dedicated to toddlers, featuring a princess castle bed.

Come & enjoy a nice relaxing getaway in this spacious 3 bedroom home in down town Covington, Va. Sue's house has lots to offer; from the large private fenced in yard & spacious back deck, to all the household amenities. This house has recently been remodeled to accommodate 8 guests. The area in which the house is located is ideal for hiking, biking, kayaking, tubing, and fishing. It's also near the historic town of Clifton Forge, as well as, The Omni Homestead Resort.
