A community of kind, nurturing staff and fellow guests. Location on the side of the hill was funky. Gorgeous view from my room but also the dining pavilion up top. Lots of stairs to climb, from ground level to the dining area. It was a great exercise. An excellent experience.

Un lugar hermoso rodeado de naturaleza, nos divertimos mucho, además todas las instalaciones en excelentes condiciones y espaciosas, unas vistas hermosas. Privacidad, belleza y tranquilidad describen perfecto la Casona. En cuanto a la atención del anfitrión fue excelente! Disfrutamos toda la estancia. Solo decir gracias. Recomendable para familias y grupo grande de amigos.

Pura Vida Retreat Center is truly a hidden gem nestled in the charming town of Yelapa. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene atmosphere and welcoming staff. My room was not only immaculately clean but also beautifully designed, offering spaciousness and breathtaking views. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the Watsu healing session, which was nothing short of transformative. The staff's dedication to ensuring a memorable experience truly sets this retreat center apart. I can't wait to return to this absolute treasure of a place ,I will be hosting my own retreat here next year

Lovely stay away from all the busy touristy places! If you need to find a true retreat from all that, this is your place! It is a little bit of a walk from the village, yet doable. Be mindful of the schedule of the water taxis that go in and out of Yelapa. Make sure to have enough pesos ahead of getting to Yelapa for the water taxis and other places that only take cash. We only traveled with backpacks and I would highly recommend doing the same so you don’t have to worry about heavy luggage to roll over rocks and steps.

Amazing location in the jungle next to the beach. Jose and staff are very friendly and provide tips and great food in their homemade kitchen, three times per day You can walk into town through the beach. Location is unmatched in Chacala

My experience at PV was incredible, and I will be back. There were a few bumps in the road upon arrival that did not match the listing description (mostly due to the Easter Holiday and giving staff well deserved time off), however the staff at PV were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to address this. If you aren’t used to nature, the outdoors, hiking/stairs I encourage you to come with an open mind. This is NOT a resort/hotel, but instead, an incredible experience. Note, the listing for room #4 indicates there is a hammock. There is not in this room, but there are in others. This is one of the reasons I chose this room, but the other hammocks on site made up for it.

Todo lo que buscas en un cabaña en el bosque - Zona muy tranquila, cabaña bonita, cómoda y equipada con chimenea, pantallas, juegos infantiles en el exterior, área para fogatas y no puede faltar el asador y su comedor exterior. Muy agradable nuestra estancia.

Lupita es una gran anfitriona, siempre al pendiente de nosotros, el lugar es hermoso, sin duda volveremos

This home was amazing! The experience staying here for couple nights was fabulous. My wife and I really got to disconnect get off our phones and just enjoy nature and listen to the birds and breeze. Easy to get to, easy check in. Hot was to bath was a plus. It has everything for you to cook or make a asado. Rubi the host went above and beyond leaving us wood to do a fire and was attentive the entire stay. I will be back soon! Thank you so much this trip was just perfect.

Great place to stay while visiting family in El Teul. The place was perfect for our family of 5.

This is a charming no-frills hostel. You have everything you need: a nice outdoor kitchen, clean bathrooms and small room. Wifi was good and reliable, I really liked that it was a short walk to the beach, but far enough to be quiet and feel like you're in the middle of the jungle. The hostel wasn't overcrowded and the people I met there were nice and chill. Michelle is very communicative and nice.

Todo en general bien , tal cual las especificaciones , solo la señal de internet no es nada buena pero preguntando se llega , y lo importante es que son PET-friendly

Hermosa cabaña, muy bien distribuida, super limpio todo (casa, baños, recamaras, sábanas, etc), hermosa vista, muy bonito lugar y en definitiva regresaremos a este lugar.

El sitio es un lugar muy tranquilo, acogedor y la familia que lo lleva muy agradable. Es adecuado para llevar a tu perro, con espacios para que pueda correr. El embarcadero es una extensión del sitio que le da un plus. La cabaña es buena para un fin de semana y lo que nos encantó fue encender la chimenea para calentarnos en la noche.

Un lugar para desconectarse del mundo exterior y disfrutar el paisaje y relajarse en la piscina. Cuartos acogedores y todo muy limpio.
