Get back to nature at Stella Matutina Farm’s Moon Flower Yurt. Located on a 10 acre , working Biodynamic farm in the heart of the Waterloo Recreation Area. The yurt sits in its own private space in the forest. Visit the farm animals, historic barn and vegetable gardens. Fire pit, outhouse with compost toilet, outdoor solar shower, and woodstove in the yurt. Visit the quaint towns of Grass Lake and Chelsea or go swimming in one of several nearby lakes. Mountain bike and hiking trails close by.

Tiny House on the Lake

Experience tiny house living in a serene location on beautiful all sports Big Wolf Lake, on a chain of 7 lakes. Just minutes from I-94, Michigan International Speedway, Skydive Tecumseh, and Lefglen Nature Sanctuary . Enjoy paddling the lake and it's channels in our kayaks available for use. We have dock space, but no beach area for swimming, although the lake does have a large sand bar for swimming and a small county park with a beach area. Outdoor grill and fire pit with wood provided.

This private home features a spacious yard on All Sports Clark Lake. There is enough bed space for 20+ people in the 2300 square foot 3 level house with balconies on each level. The lake provides numerous amenities, including The Eagles Nest Restaurant, The Beach Bar, and a marina. Local boat and bike rentals are available nearby. Additionally, Doyle's, a party store, is conveniently located nearby. The house also offers access to the 7-mile Spirit Trail, which loops around the lake.

Stay in a YURT on An Equine Rescue Ranch

The yurt is located on a 30 Acre Equine Rescue ranch. It is a 4 season 20ft yurt in the middle of the ranch with a beautiful view of Mustangs (American Legends). All proceeds from rental will go back to the rescue. There is electric, an outhouse a short walk away, a cold water spigot close by. Minutes away from Pleasant Lake for swimming, a local winery & 38 minutes from Ann Arbor. We offer tours and chances to interact with equines, including American Mustangs!

Yurt at Waterloo!

Welcome to the Yurt at Waterloo. This is a 16 ft’ Yurt. There is very nice separate outhouse. We are nestled in the woods only 1.5 miles from Portage Lake Campground. With swimming, boating, fishing, disc golf, etc. We are surrounded by thousands of miles of trails in the Waterloo Conservation area. Plenty of privacy for campfire nights and deck lounging while enjoying the sounds of nature. You will not find more private camping and serenity!
