Joy of Life Cottages

We offer a Cottage with 2 bedrooms. Our guests can experience an authentic, Partially off-grid living experience in the tropical jungle. We designed a thatched roof cabana built with natural materials straight out of the jungle. Get close to nature and explore our garden and surrounding farm. The 4-acre property includes an outdoor fresh rainwater catchment system. Our neighbors, also farmers, are living as simply as possible, happily growing their own food, raising families and staying healthy.

On the Beach with Private Pool

The largest, private & gated property on the Caribbean shores of Cattle Landing in southern Toledo. Sit on your balcony or walk the jungle paths among our local wildlife of many exotic birds, monkeys, & manatee along the Caribbean shore. In the early mornings and late evenings you can watch our local fishermen cast their nets into the sea. Bring your swim suite to relax in our big pool or our beach. Enjoy a day of fishing and snorkeling then grill your catch of the day on our wood grill!

Built in 2005 on 20 acres, it has been created with minimal impact to the environment, and maximum benefit to the community. When booking with us, you can choose the entire property rental or a private get-a-way for a smaller group. Let us know how we can make your experience memorable.
