Our NEWLY REMODELED (2021) spacious loft apartment is nestled above the garden, One block from the beach and close to UCSB. Created is a restful, quiet space for you to unwind inside and out. We love all people, but due to the design of the open loft our space is unsafe for kiddos….but not grown ups! Thank you for understanding. Take an early morning stroll along the bluffs above the ocean waves in the iconic college beach town of Isla Vista (can be a bit rowdy during the school year!). Our cozy studio retreat is a perfect home base for exploring the beautiful Santa Barbara area beaches, Spanish-style downtown, mountain hiking, and coastal foothills. We are a ten minute walk from Devereux beach, UCSB and its lagoon, and only an 8 minute drive from both the Santa Barbara airport and Goleta Amtrak station.

Our house is by no means a party house, we have nearby neighbors and due to location is very quiet at night. Our home is perfect for guests who are looking for a serene experience. Newly remodeled bedroom (with cal king bed), attached bathroom, patio with private entrance, and self check-in. Across the street there is a nature preserve with a 1.5 mile walking path offering bird watching, Los Carneros Lake, and the historic Stow House. The house is 2-stories with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms above the unit. The bedrooms above are carpeted, and we insulated the ceiling above you in an attempt to mitigate the noise, but the 60 year old floors can squeak.

Sunny Garden Home near the beach

This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom PLUS casita home is nestled in 1/2 acre of beautiful garden with California Oaks, Pepper trees and Palms. Each window looks out to a beautiful garden setting. The back garden with its sunny southern exposure, is a lovely place to sit and admire the scenic views to the lower lawn and beyond to an open meadow. The private beach is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the house. The house is located near endless paths for walking on the More Mesa preserve.
