Jason…..uh what do I even say? Jason was such an awesome host. He was incredibly thoughtful and kind. We had car problems and he went out of his way to help us and communicate with the car rental company. He checked up on us frequently and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The space was peaceful and beautiful. Jason made it a memorable stay in Vieques for us!

This is a wonderful place to gather with family of all ages, as we did. The compound has an easygoing feel, is welcoming and friendly. It has all the basics. There is a patchy inventory of kitchen implements, bowls etc, which was fine with us but if I return I'd would bring a couple of sharp knives to cook with.

Tropical Tranquil Setting - Casita Beija Flor

Carmen’s property makes you feel like you are entering a tropical version of the Secret Garden. Flower petals line the entry way leading up to the gate and you are welcomed by birdsong and her sweet little dog. The landscaping is naturally beautiful and is a stunning combination of color and texture. The pool is great for a quick afternoon dip to cool off in between beach trips and adventures. The lodging was artistically decorated and pleasant. The bed was clean and comfortable. We made many of our meals in the sweet little kitchen area. It was nice to make breakfast and lunch before we headed to the beach. I appreciated that there were two bathrooms. Carmen is a knowledgeable and friendly host. She will give you great information on local restaurants and excursions. Carmen respected our privacy, but was also easy to talk with. We all quickly became friends. She was especially kind to my young daughter making us feel right at home.

At The Waves - Oceanfront -Upper 2 beds/2 baths

We stayed in a two bed/bath. It was honestly better than the pictures. Comfortable and well appointed accommodation with nice linens and towels. Nice shared pool and covered pool area. Great patio just for our apartment. Beach access to a nice walking beach with great beach combing. No swimming. We experienced a power outage while there but the area was so restored sooner than the rest of the island. We appreciated the basic supplies that were in the apartment. Liz and Bill were super proactive with info and very responsive if we had questions. Vieques is def back in action and we loved our 4 nights there.

Large Efficiency Apartment at Casita Tropical

Very comfortable place -- mentally and physically. Cold AC. The indoor/outdoor and minimalist kitchens will be odd to the uninitiated, but everything works and overall the system is quite functional. With a little creativity we cooked some elaborate meals. In spite of the "local neighborhood" location, the outdoor seating areas provide nice privacy, except 2-3 moments a day when Molly passes through. She turned out to be a delight, though -- the perfect mix of "available if needed; otherwise leaving you alone." I'll second the review that said this is like having a cool aunt with a house in the Caribbean. We used the provided white noise machine and were not bothered at all by local traffic or the chorus of roosters. The bedding is comfortable, great shower pressure, clean, no pests... Ten minute drive to almost anywhere on the island. Are there fancier places? Sure. But this is really some fantastic bang for your buck.

Casa Iguana, we are incredibly grateful for our time in Vieques and allowing you to share your beautiful home with us. The location was perfect and allowed us to see many things near Esperanza, but also a 5 minute drive from downtown Vieques which was full of great night life and restaurants. The home itself was very quiet away from main roads or traffic, we saw wild horses walking through the backyard in the morning, stunning! This home also has an incredible view of the ocean and the surrounding hills. It would be a great space for a small family or group of 4. Highly recommend as the owner is very responsive and flexible with guests.

David is a wonderful host very helpful lives on site but you wouldn’t he know they were there. Checked in a couple of times to see if we needed anything. Also directed us to his favorite beach . Close to all the good restaurants. Bakery across the street and Nice market around the corner . Perfect place to stay kinda hip outdoor living space with pool in your area. And AC in bedroom bath area

Vieques Tropical Guest House / Room 6 El Gallito

My stay was for business purposes, as chefs invited to work at local spot; therefore came in late every night, felt safe in a well lit area and quite neighborhood. Overall very satisfied with this pick, meeting our basic needs. Met Rebecca and Freddy in passing while looking for misplaced keys, and as chefs, we had the pleasure of serving their dinner experience at local restaurant. It was a pleasure hosting them in return on the same weekend. Highly recommended for quiet stay in Vieques.

We stayed here our last night in Puerto Rico, and it was probably our favorite of the whole trip! Clean, spacious, all of the amenities we needed, plus a washer and dryer! 🤩 We were extremely comfortable and it was the perfect location to head to luquillo and San Juan the next morning. Fantástico alojamiento con increíbles vistas. Es amplio y con suficiente espacio para alojarse varias personas aunque nosotros solo éramos 2. Quizás como punto a mejorar es el Wifi ya que se caía constantemente y tener a mano una linterna ya que en la isla es frecuente que se vaya la luz, pero simplemente lo digo a crítica constructiva de mejora ya que en general estamos muy contentos.

El hospedaje tiene una muy buena ubicación ya que esta en el pueblo y puedes ir caminando a restaurantes, al ferry y colmados. Excelente opción si vas a estar todo el día afuera y necesitas un lugar donde descansar cómodamente y céntrico.

We stayed here for one night on Vieques. We were doing the bioluminescence tour. We are a family of 4 and it served its purpose. It was clean. We literally slept there. We were staying at a villa on the main land and just needed a place to rest our heads.

Villa 3 Flamenco Beachfront Villas

The villa was absolutely wonderful! We stayed for six nights to celebrate our honeymoon, and it was perfect. We loved the quiet location, beach access, and we were close to a grocery store so we were able to grill and cook at the villa a few nights, felt just like home! I think our favorite part was the porch, we spent every morning and evening out there. We will absolutely be returning in the future :).

Darla has everything you need to enjoy yourself while staying in her home. She greets you personally to give the lay of the land and provides suggestions for attractions, activities, restaurants, and transportation. We were there during the island-wide blackout, which caused us to alter our plans a bit. I was able to call her suggestion for a taxi ride at the last minute, and he came right over! Did I mention the location was perfect? As noted in other posts, she even provides earplugs if you are not a fan of the natural alarm clocks outside. :) I wouldn't change a thing! Vieques with no power was still a beautiful and memorable experience.
