Quiet and Peaceful retreat overlooking Lake Isabella. Kernville 6 miles away. Separate guest house from main house. Host on property. We would love to welcome you when you arrive and answer any questions you may have. From there, we will give you your privacy. We are located on a private paved road, off the main road in a very quiet neighborhood. Must be able to walk up 18 steps to entrance. Once inside you can relax, unwind and sit out on the patio. Great place to recharge and be with nature

Bluebird Cottage Spectacular lake views

Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. This cottage is private, even though it is next to our residence. It has a 6' privacy fence. Once inside the gate,you are met with beautiful landscaping and a view of Lake Isabella and the surrounding mountains that are well worth the drive.The cottage is set for 1-2 adults.

Rustic country style attached guest studio

Rustic attached guest studio in beautiful Squirrel Valley with private entrance with EV plug. 5 min to Lake Isabella marina, 20 min to natural hot springs, 20 min to Kernville, 40 min to Alta Sierra ski resort, 1 and 1/2 hours to Trail of 100 giants. Great halfway stopping point between Death Valley and Yosemite. Perfect for traveling nurses, hospital is less than two miles away. Nature trails right out the back door. If you need assistance we will be here, but we will respect your privacy.

This retreat is perfect year around. An entry way with open space , a spacious living room opens into an island kitchen and dining area will seat 6 people. 3 bedrooms with 2 trundle beds for guests and a Jacuzzi bathtub Two comfortable couches for extra guest sleeping space. Located in the center of the valley near every activity (Shirley Meadow skiing, Lake Isabella, Kern River, Sequoia National Forest), Note: Resort Fee is Temp Occupancy Tax imposed by Kern County, not my choice.
