The Old Schoolhouse on the Shannon Estuary

The Old Schoolhouse is a beautifully renovated house which was originally the local national school built in 1887. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the Shannon estuary. The house has wooden floors and ceilings throughout and a balcony where guests can sit and have breakfast overlooking the river. Labasheeda is a peaceful village on the Wild Atlantic way within easy reach of Kilimer Car ferry, Loop Head, Kilkee, the Cliffs of Moher any many more beautiful sights.

This cottage is one of six cottages in a restored courtyard . Each cottage is individually designed with lots of attention to detail. On arrival the guests will be greeted with freshly baked scones and a welcome basket. Fresh flowers in all the rooms and fires and candles lighting in the winter months. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.
