Our camp is located the heart of the Adirondacks in upstate NY . It is a beautiful four season cabin on Lake Abanakee . The camp is adorned with Adirondack art and furnishings made by my artisan friends and I. Lake Abanakee is a favorite for canoes, kayaks, photographers, fishermen and families. Enjoy glamping in our new screened in lean to or swimming and boating from our private beach. Although our camp looks like a rustic retreat, we have high speed internet and all the modern conveniences.

The Grounded Getaway

Welcome to the Grounded Getaway, a cozy Adirondack walkout basement cabin suite surrounded by towering trees and peaceful greenery with a private entrance and driveway. Unwind by the fire pit under a star-filled sky, and listen to haunting loon calls from nearby lakes. Explore countless hiking trails, lakes, and rivers just minutes away—perfect for kayaking, canoeing, or rafting. Whether you're looking for adventure or tranquility, this cozy, nature-wrapped hideaway is the perfect base camp.

Sauna, Hiking, Walk to Sandy Beach & Private Chef

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated stay. Simple luxury in the Adirondacks with premium amenities like an outdoor sauna, weekday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, and firewood for campfires under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We also share our passive cooling technique during the warmer months with our guests.

Waterfront Artisan ADK Cottage - Tupper Lake

Sunset Cottage is cleaned in compliance with CDC COVID-19 Lodging cleaning standards before you vacation there. Sunset Cottage is only 15 feet from Tupper Lake with a sandy spot for launching canoes/kayaks and a large dock where you can moor your powerboat if you bring one. Dock seating and swimming with a dog friendly stair. Fire pit with firewood on the lawn with Adirondack chairs for your use. Two, kayaks come with the rental. Newly renovated interior with beautiful Adirondack decor.

While the house is private, it's minutes from Indian Lake's town center and nearby to all the outdoor activities the Adirondacks has to offer - hiking, fishing, skiing, canoeing/kayaking, whitewater rafting, and more. Gore Mountain is 20 min away. Enjoy the amazing views from the deck, relax in the screened in porch, or head down to the dock to launch a kayak, fish, or swim.

An Adirondack four season camp nestled in the mountains of beautiful Indian Lake. This camp borders thousands of acres of "Forever Wild" land in the Hudson Gorge Wilderness area. Walk across the street and bushwack for miles and miles. OK Slip Falls trailhead is less than a mile away. Skiing at Gore Mountain is 10 minutes away. There are endless things to do in the area-fishing, skiing, hiking, multiple museums, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, kayaking and canoeing to start your getaway!

Located in the Village of Speculator, a beautiful place in the heart of the Adirondack Park. Right on the snowmobile trail. Kayakers can shove off from the lake right located nearby. Restaurants, pubs and a local grocery store minutes away. The cabin is perfect for 2. A third person will add a 25.00 per night fee. Due to allergy reasons we can accept no pets.
