Tent Site among the trees

We have beautiful spacious campsites located throughout our pine tree forest. We also have one large community campsite for families who want to camp together. It accommodates up to 24 people. You will love our walking trail that surrounds the campground with a fun scavenger hunt for all to enjoy. Restrooms and showers are close by. Our awesome playground and sandbox will help keep the little ones entertained for hours. Picnic tables and game room are also available for your enjoyment.

Rest relax and recharge! Get away from it all when you sleep under the stars. DIY camping. Bring your tent, sleeping bag, and camping gear to enjoy your camping experience. We provide a picnic table, burn barrel and firewood ( you may use charcoal not provided ). Choose any one of the open spots which appeals to you near or closer to the ravine. Enjoy the sounds of nature as you enjoy being among the trees. Parking allowed near campsites.

Discover the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this place to stay. 65 acres of private land with waterfalls, ponds, cliffs, bluffs, and streams. Trails leading into the National Shawnee Forest where you’ll have thousands of miles to explore. Our sites are spacious, private, primitive, and unique. You’ll have a private fire pit, grill (charcoal not included) and firewood on your site. We also have a brand new outhouse for your convenience.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Porta potty upon request. (Finishing outhouse accommodations now) Bring your own tent or camper. A large fire pit all to yourself with split starting firewood is included in your stay and located on your campsite. There is also a grill and fire extinguisher located on every site. (Charcoal not included) We also have a brand new outhouse for your convenience.

Southern Illinois Eclipse Camp

We want to invite you to Southern Illinois! This eclipse will be worth your drive. We have a beautiful pond to fish, ducks to watch and sky watching at it's finest. An indoor bathroom and outdoor shower. Kitchenette with coffee pot and kettle availabe always. Grill upon request. Gym upstairs of community room. Due to the eclipse check out times are flexible. Bell Canvas Tent Under the Stars

Beautiful 13’ by 13’ Bell Tent on a large wooden platform. You have your own fire pit, fire pit grill, and a wooden bench and firewood provided. You also have a picnic table with an umbrella. Private access to our eight mile trail system is just feet away from the back of your tent. You have access to an outdoor shower with instant hot/cold water and a porta potty.

Primitive camping in the SNF

Discover the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this private property! Primitive tent camping, there is no electric or water. $125 to park for April 8th(up to 4 people per car) unless preapproved before April 8th. Show up and camp Sunday or Monday, or just come park and hang out on Monday. Either is fine. Property sits on top of a hill with full view all around.

Hidden Ridge at Otter Lake

We invite you to stay at Hidden Ridge, a private wooded hideaway located at Otter Lake, Girard, Illinois, for an authentic camping experience. A 14 x 16 wall tent with a queen size bed and separate bathroom facility with an area for outdoor cooking is provided. There is plenty of space for additional tents, cots or air mattresses.

Brand new outhouse within walking distance. Extra amenities upon request. Listing price is for 2 guests, more guests are welcome for an extra fee.
