Stunning house. Beautiful location. Very responsive hosts and staff at the property. Would highly recommend.

Our stay was 100% great. We stayed for 5 nights. The place is a hidden gem, off the beaten track, set away from the road. It’s authentic and beautiful, the setting is really idyllic. The apartments are well equipped and have quality double glazing. Although we weren’t bitten, we appreciated the modern insect screens at night as we were able to leave the windows open. They are set behind Kostas’s taverna which serves delicious fresh food much of it coming from the garden behind and the sea in front. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The sandy cove in front of the taverna is via a paved path and a lovely lush garden. Tables extend to the edge of the sea and large old trees and straw umbrellas shade you whilst you eat and chat and watch the boats go by. West facing beautiful sunsets, shallow, sandy, warm, clear sea. 10 minutes by bus (on time, 3 times a day), or taxi 10€ to Aegina Town or the village of Perdika to the south if you want to explore. Short walk to a good supermarket.

Die Unterkunft bei Mary war einfach großartig – genauso wie auf den Bildern! Besonders begeistert waren wir von der riesigen Dachterrasse und der perfekten Ausstattung – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit Mary war schnell, freundlich und völlig unkompliziert. Ein kleiner Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Der Zugang zum Schlafzimmer erfolgt über eine recht steile Leiter – das sollte man vor der Buchung wissen, ist für fitte Gäste aber kein Problem. Die Wohnung – eigentlich ein ganzes kleines Haus – liegt wunderbar ruhig und man genießt viel Privatsphäre. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gern wieder!

We loved our time in Poros and this special apartment full of character! The welcome on arrival, from the on-duty tabby cat too, made us feel right at home. The spacious terrace and front bedroom offer a spectacular view. And nearby beaches—though not the cleanest—were quiet prior to Easter and great for our needs. Poros was lively and charming on its own terms just before the main holiday season, with lots of dining options. Exploring the lanes was a delight, but involved many stairs—worth noting if you arrive on foot with heavy bags (and a wild toddler!): It’s easier, if slightly longer, to follow car routes into the upper town—Googlemapping driving routes can help. Otherwise the ferry dock is only 10–15mins on foot if you're unloaded. We didn’t attempt long walks with our 2-year-old, but the island has great hiking potential, and we enjoyed stunning views during a short car hire. Spiros ensured smooth communication via Mary, his helpful housekeeper. We'll remember our stay fondly.

Very beautiful home, and gracious hosts! Everything was very clean and was ready for us—including a goodie bag, which was such a thoughtful touch. Stamos offered to arrange transportation when we arrived—sea taxi/donkeys (we only had backpacks so walking from the port was not a problem, and it’s a beautiful walk). very helpful instructions, including a walking video. There aren’t addresses on the island so study the video. The beds aren’t super comfortable, though the younger members of our party had no complaints about them. Maybe bring earplugs if it will bother you to hear dogs barking close by in the night (as well as a rooster that seems to work the night shift). It was a lovely place though, convenient to the port and some swimming areas, without being in the bustle of the port. Great water views from the balcony! Fantastic hosts.

Alloggio in ottime posizione, pulito, arredato con gusto, con una splendida vista panoramica sul mare e sulle caratteristiche abitazioni arroccate sulla collina. Host disponibile a soddisfare le nostre richieste. Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 ma anche 6 ospiti starebbero comodi. Ottimo, lo consiglio sicuramente!

This was my third visit to Ydra. Each visit I typically spend 2 weeks in each home, and I have always stayed in different homes. So I’ve experienced a bunch… this one is perfect. The location is close to everything. Situated on a tiny square where children play, cats sleep, and tourists and locals alike sit on benches and relax. The Bnb is close to the harbor, restaurants, grocery store and liquor store. But honestly, the host already stocked the fridge with everything I could possibly need! I loved the upstairs terrace with potted plants, the smart interiors (I loved waking up to the vaulted ceilings), and private entrance, but I think the main thing that sets this place apart, is the host family. While giving you plenty of space and privacy (they live downstairs with a separate entrance), they made me feel welcome, like community. We even went out to dinner one night. This is definitely a Bnb that I will book again, and again, and again. Ναί! Ναί! Ναί!

Beautiful house, one of our favourites ever. The hosts have thought of everything for their guests. To get to the house is a little tricky as water taxi's are expensive and there is a 15 min hill walk with your luggage. But the walk is beautiful and Stelios was very helpful to us at all times. The rooftop view and gardens are fantastic to watch the sunsets. very little to do in the area, but again a really nice relaxing, top stay for all.
