In the winter Akureyri is a winter sport town with a fabulous ski mountain Hlidarfjall.

The farm Hraunkot and horse rental Lava Horses are located between Husavik, Lake Myvatn and Akureyri, but yet in a peaceful environment with a lot of animals. Short to the grocery store, cafe Klara , Höllin restaurant, and the beautiful water inside the town, the harbor is right by, good hiking trails, golf course, swimming pool and the beautiful mountains, great winter ski area. It is possible to rent jet skis with guidance to see mountains from the see with Farytale at see,in Ólafsfjörður. Short for whale watching in Dalvík or Hauganes. 4 beds 90x200 .
