Waterfront Haven Apartment

Designed by 1 + 2 Architects and built by VOS our home won a HIA award in 2005. Part of our brief to the architects was to design a part of the home where our guests could have complete privacy and feel spoilt . It has become a sanctuary for many people . Recently our local renowned Interior Designer has visited the apartment . The result is spectacular and calming . Quality furniture is enhanced by soft furnishings from Adairs. Professionally laundered bed linen adds to the sense of luxury.

Hobart Hideaway Pods- Vanilla Pod

Hobart hideaway pods offer multi award winning, boutique eco-friendly tourist accomodation set amongst the rural part of Mt Wellington's foot hills conveniently located just 20 Minutes from Hobart. 2 architecturally designed pods with stand out eco-conscious features, with the aim of minimising the environmental footprint. Guests are surrounded by floor to ceiling windows, and sweeping decks, connecting them to landscaped gardens, wildlife, and expansive water views across the Derwent Estuary.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

The Hideout Cabin

Set up for up to four adults, this gorgeous home offers waterfront views, two luxurious bedrooms, a large kitchen with a Glemgas 6 burner gas stove and oven, an indoor fireplace, coffee machine and a fire-pit for enjoying balmy evenings. Add an absolute abundance of wildlife, fishing and swimming and you have the perfect getaway!

Minimalism, simplicity and luxury combine to create an experience you will always remember, whether it be a romantic getaway, a relaxing retreat to recharge or a base to explore the magnificence of Bruny Island.

Tinderbox Peninsula Chalets - Birdsong

High quality, fully self-contained, contemporary accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful garden setting, surrounded by bushland, birds and local fauna. Set in the heart of the Tinderbox Environmental Living Zone, stocked with homemade bread and produce, the chalets are a delightful place to relax and unwind. They also provide a great base to explore Hobart, the Huon Valley and Bruny Island, just over 20 minutes drive from each. Cafes, restaurants and shops are a short drive away.

The Songbird | Waterfront Escape
