Head out on Angles Way and follow the Waveney river valley for an idyllic countryside stroll or take a trip to the beautiful Suffolk coast, then light the fire and curl up under the beams. Featured in a host of magazines, this bucolic abode combines period features and chic, contemporary design. Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

The Stables - Tunstead Cottages Enjoy the peace of the Norfolk countryside. Our rural, dog friendly cottage on the outskirts of Tunstead. Close to the Norfolk Broads and the coast, yet only 30 minutes from the city of Norwich. The Stables is on an old farm on the outskirts of Tunstead village. In a peaceful part of rural Norfolk with views of the big Norfolk skies, farmland and fruit fields. Cottages have a pool but its on private hire and booking is separate also has a shared games room.

The Waterhouse, Norfolk countryside

The log cabin is set in beautiful, scenic surroundings, the perfect place to unwind and escape the pace of everyday life. Nearby amenities include a newsagent, an Indian restaurant, and a pub, all within easy reach. The Waterhouse is just a 15-minute drive from both the Norfolk Broads and Norwich city centre, making it a great base for exploring the area. I’m available if you need any assistance. Explore the amazing scenery and wildlife of the broads from nearby Acle or Potter Heigham. Kings Arms Restaurant and Pub in the village just a few minutes walk away.

Located in a residential area of the Georgian town of North Walsham, the cottage is ideally situated for accessing the vibrant city of Norwich, the beauty of the Norfolk Broads and the breathtaking North Norfolk coast line. Only a 3 minute walk to the train station, and good amenities close by.

A shop and a great Indian restaurant within 1/2 mile walk, and a great pub about 1 mile away, however you really do need a car to get anywhere. A quiet location with only a handful of houses nearby. Eight miles from the centre of Norwich, on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, 15 miles to the beautiful beaches of the Norfolk coast. Lots to do, with both city and country life close by.

Marsh Cottage is a rustic and secluded little house overlooking the RSPB marshes bordering the River Yare and is in the perfect location for those wanting to relax and unwind whatever the season. This peaceful hideaway was once the home of the Marshman who tended to the cattle grazing on the marshes. Perfect for walkers, Birdwatchers and nature lovers and those who love walking their dogs. There is a new super king Relyon bed and mattress, new shower, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge. Our location is very convenient being quite close to Norwich, broads and the stunning seaside. You could enjoy its cosy front garden or have breakfast on the patio at the back of the property. Onsite parking is available.
