One to one and a half hours by speed passenger ferry from Strandkaiterminalen, Bergen. Or from Flesland Airport, 15 min bus/taxi to Flesland quay, and 40 min to Møkster. The flat is situated a 15-minute walk from Møkster harbour 1.2 km. You will find a good modern grocery store at the harbour. You cannot bring your car to the island.

You can definitely get around by public transport, however, a rental car will normally be preferable. Our house is located on the way to the Stegastein lookout, so our patio guarantees an astonishing view over the fjord.
