G&R's Holcombe Escape

G&R’s Holcombe Escape is meant for adventure and relaxation! This area offers many outdoor activities year-round, so bring your toys and get ready for a vacation to remember. This is the ideal home base for family and friends. A large house to relax and enjoy quality time after a day out on the lake, UTV trails, snowmobile trails, or cross-country skiing trails. There is space to park your boat, snowmobiles, or UTV on property, making a quick hop over to the lake or the trails located nearby.

Nordic Lake Cabin : Sauna/Hot Tub/Pontoon Rental

We finished building this modern Scandinavian cabin in spring 2020. It’s been featured in Vogue and on Magnolia Network. The cabin sits at the end of the road on a private lot with a perfect view of sunsets over the nature side of the lake. Drive past farm fields, into the woods, and onto our private gravel road, arriving at the driveway. Watch loons, tundra swans, eagles, beavers and deer while you relax by the lake. Pontoon boat rental is available as an add on! Pets welcome for a $90 fee!

Oak Hill Retreat

Country location, peaceful and quiet. Apartment above detached garage, full kitchen, small deck and private stairway with beautiful view of the surrounding trees. Easily accessible, 3 miles from I-94 and St. Hwy. 29, 1/2 way between the university cities of Eau Claire and Menomonie, 1 1/4 hours from St. Paul/Minneapolis. There is a growing art and music scene, with multiple music festivals, etc. The area also has fine restaurants, theaters, parks, and historical sites. Come to be restored.

Flaming Torch Lodge

This is a quaint little cabin on the Flambeau River just outside of Ladysmith, WI (flambeau translastes to flaming torch) It is a clean space with rustic charm. It has a fully equipped kitchen, stove and fridge. A gas fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room. Snuggle up on the sofa or recliner, turn on the fireplace, and relax. There is one bedroom with a memory foam mattress. A loft with a sleeper couch. Free amenities, including cleaning. No pets and no smoking at any time please.

Shallow river is home to bass, crawfish, frogs, & turtles w/eagle sightings! Cabin is a loft design with a queen bed, & two twins (not a lot of privacy). Close to ATV trails with Country store & bar/food about 1 mile. Near Lake Holcombe, & surrounding areas. The Eagle's nest is an adjacent unit (sleeps 6). This is a spacious, beautiful home away from home! We are located about a 1/4 mile away from gorgeous Lake Holcombe. Nestled away behind the pines :) The area offers plenty of out door activities, year round. Take a walk on the quiet, peaceful lakeshore, or jump on the trails just down the road for some OTR fun. There is also the well known ice age hiking trail close by. We do offer maps located on your welcome stand to help you navigate our great community.
