Besides enjoying your time at this getaway, venture out to see the Great Sand Dunes National Park and hike the Zapata Waterfall, which are both less than a 10 minute drive from the Modern Cabin. Don't forget to relax in the hot tub after hiking or cozy up by the fireplace. After dark, gaze upward on a clear night for an incredible stargazing opportunity.

The Raven's Nest is nestled under the Sangre de Cristo Mountains at an elevation of 8,000' with stunning views of 14,000' peaks to the east and picturesque views of the expansive San Luis Valley to the west. Monarch Peak and the southern Collegiate Peaks can be seen to the North. Great hiking trails along roaring creeks beckon from a few minutes away.
