Riverside Retreat is located in the picturesque village of Ickleton, approximately 11 miles south of Cambridge and 5 miles north of Saffron Walden. Duxford Air Museum is 3.4 miles to the west. Ickleton has a local shop providing daily essentials. There are numerous public footpaths, and a nature reserve nearby. Welcoming pubs and cafes are a short trip away.

South takes you down to London in a couple of days or North takes you up through some wonderful countryside towards Berkhamstead and Aylesbury. A holiday with a difference.

Chingford Overground Station is 6 minutes by car with direct trains to London Liverpool Street. 12 minutes drive from Loughton Underground Station on the Central Line.
