Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

LAKEFRONT, SUNSET VIEWS, PUTTING GREEN, MASSIVE DECK SPACE!! Relax on the deck and watch the sun set over Cedar Creek Lake. Enjoy evenings in the hot-tub, or on the putting green as dinner is grilled on the Blackstone, then wake up and enjoy coffee at the kitchen table and admire the lake-view through the wall of windows. Since 2022 the house has gotten new fencing, a putting green, a new PAC-MAN machine, a new 2-story Trex deck, and a new boat dock. Privately owned, managed, and cared for.

The loft ceilings are 4' tall but oh-so-fun for the kiddos. The loft retreat is set back from the living room lending itself to a more private loft experience. Capture magnificent sunsets from the lovely lake front porch. It has ramp access to the home from the parking lot and stairs towards the lake.

Beautiful view of spring fed beautiful Lake Athens from the front porch. A little slice of paradise to relax and enjoy. Watch the abundent deer stroll through this scenic quiet neighborhood. At the end of the street is the marina which hosts fabulous dining and boat ramp or walk to the Texas Parks Freshwater Fishery for a tour and fishing. Wifi and cable TV now available. The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
