100 year old Kyoumachiya 【４DK】３min Ginkakuji

This is a 90-year-old traditional Kyoumachiya certified by Kyoto City. World heritage Ginkakuji Temple and the path of philosophy are within a 5-minute walk. It is also a convenient location for Nanzenji and Heian Shrine. Kyoumachiya, where ordinary people enjoy the seasons and enjoy daily life, is a relaxing and nostalgic space. It is 92 square meters including the 2nd floor, and the wet area is easy to use and has been renovated, so you can spend it comfortably.

「京都のお宿侘助」は京阪清水五条駅より徒歩5分の1棟貸の町家です。

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. The tax fee will increase to 400 yen from March 1, 2026.

宿のある京都三条はとても立地がよく、お買い物や観光、お食事にと大変便利なところです。訪れる方がステキな祇園の夜を過ごせるようにと湯船には陶器、日本六古釜の１つである信楽焼を使用しておりますのも自慢の１つです。 祇園白川まで徒歩3分と近く、川沿いの道は春は桜、夏は柳が美しく、多くの人が集まる情緒豊かな人気のスポットです。ただ私が一番好きなのは真夜中の人のいない時間です。川面が光り幻想的で、別世界のようです。 徒歩で数分歩けば、紅葉の名所である青蓮院、知恩院があり、春には枝垂れ桜が名高い八坂神社までも散歩しながら行くことができます 是非、私の宿で「祇園」を体感してください！ ご来訪心よりお待ちしております。

This is a nice place to visit Kyoto, just near the river Shirakawa, a really nice place sometimes used for movies or series. The house is near Chioin, Kodaiji, Higashiyama, Yasaka shrine. Just near the house, there is an old market where you can buy and eat Japanese food.
