Stargazer is the perfect place to get away from it all! The stillness and serenity of being nestled in a bird and wildlife sanctuary is so good for your soul. Watch the sunrise from a hanging basket chair at 2700 feet of elevation, or wait for moonrise and toast spectacular star views! Relax in the sauna after a day filled with hiking and an al fresco meal on the deck. Roast s’mores at the deck fire table or over the side yard fire pit. cabin that sits on a native trout stream. a catch and release area right above the cabin that is stocked and close to trout fishing all around. while it sits close to a back road, it is peaceful. there is wifi that works well and a television in every room. there are sliding doors onto the front porch. two bedrooms with king beds and one with twin beds. there are two full baths and a laundry. a great place to unwind

We are conveniently located along Rt 33 about 10 minutes from EMU, JMU. The George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and numerous caverns provide endless opportunity for outdoor adventures. There is also abundant shopping and dining nearby in Harrisonburg, Dayton, or Bridgewater.

My place is about 10 minutes from Downtown Harrisonburg and EMU and 15 minutes from JMU's Bridgeforth Stadium and Atlantic Union Bank Center. Come for a great getaway close to many activities but tucked into a quiet neighborhood with scenic views all around. Great for couples, families and remote work!
