Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

The Hideout Cabin

Take yourselves away on a stunning waterfront nature retreat at this private, peaceful and stylish solar powered cabin in the middle of the Tasmanian wilderness. Set up for up to four adults, this gorgeous home offers waterfront views, two luxurious bedrooms, a large kitchen with a Glemgas 6 burner gas stove and oven, an indoor fireplace, coffee machine and a fire-pit for enjoying balmy evenings. Add an absolute abundance of wildlife, fishing and swimming and you have the perfect getaway!

Perfect for couples & families as a base to explore the many local attractions like Hastings Caves, the thermal springs, Lune river, hiking trails at Cockle Creek or just relax with a fishing line along the shore where there are always hungry flathead. Floor to ceiling windows allowing you the perfect view of Southport bay whilst in this very comfortable home away from home complete with all mod-cons.

Lune, lunawuni/Bruny Island

Lune, lunawuni is a secluded, eco-friendly cabin set on 2 acres of private waterfront bushland. Overlooking the d’Entrecasteaux Channel, with views of Hartz Mountains National Park, and with direct access to the waters edge of Sheepwash Bay, the property offers guests an intimate, nature immersed escape, with comfort in mind. Lune owners Sarah and Olly acknowledge the Nununi people, Traditional Owners of the land on which the cabin stands, and pay respects to Elders past and present.

The lookout cabin is an architect designed cabin for two, nestled high on Bruny's east coast sea cliffs. Enjoy expansive water views over Storm Bay, Tasman Island and the Southern Ocean. Summertime Cottage is directly opposite a safe and sandy swimming beach. The cosy wood heater and a glass of wine are all that separate you from the beach. Its ideal for couples, singles, families, small groups, artists, musicians, bird watchers, bush walkers, and ideal for fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, beach walking, reading books, and most of all......RELAXING. Its very quiet, pristine and peaceful.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
