The country setting is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views and a fenced in backyard with a fire pit. This house is nestled in a small community with welcoming neighbors and farm animals. Don't miss the sunrise or sunset! Great for a family or couple to get away!

Serenity by the Stream

Cabin in the Shenandoah Mountain surrounded by National Forest on 3 sides. Inside cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and local landscape art throughout. Bright and cheery in the bedrooms best suited for 2-4 adults or family with children. Wonderful sound of the river throughout the property. Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

"Country Star"- Suite at Cross Keys

Welcome to our private, cozy suite, Country Star. A sunny walkout basement apartment with patio and easy parking next to entrance makes coming and going a breeze. Country Star features a kitchenette, with table and chairs, one bedroom with queen bed and closet, and a full bath/shower. It provides comfortable space for two, with extra space for a pack-n-play or fold out lounge chair/bed for a third person. (See note in 'other'). Our space offers convenience and comfort, with self check-in.

Spacious, one bedroom, walk-out basement apt on the lower level of our home. Private entrance and driveway. Located in the quiet Park View neighborhood north of Eastern Mennonite University, this apt. is also just a few miles from JMU, a 15 minute drive to Bridgewater College, and a 30 minute drive to Shenandoah National Park. It features an open living/dining/kitchen (stocked with essentials), large bedroom, and full bath with washer and dryer. Guest use of the covered patio is encouraged.

Stay on a hilltop with a view that literally goes on for miles, overlooking the western Shenandoah Valley to the ridges of the Allegheny Mountains! Relax in hammock chairs on your private deck, while watching the sunset and sipping coffee that we've provided from a local roaster. Our goal is to make your stay as carefree and comfortable as possible - a true escape! A rural feel, but we're just a few minutes from JMU, EMU, and downtown, and an easy drive to many hiking trails and vineyards.

Finn's Frolic-The place- relax, stay, or explore!

Finn's Frolic is our charming, country tiny home. Less than 2 hours DC, Charlottesville. Beautiful farm, mountain views, deck, fire pit, charcoal grill, much more. Landscaping is in the works ! Kitchen is fully equipped, vintage & new dinner wear. Living room has an electric fireplace, huge picture window, comfy love seat. The bedroom is up traditional stairs: loft bedroom, 7 foot sloped ceiling. Great place to relax, base for visits to local wineries, attractions! Perfectly imperfect!

Escape to our guest suite in the Shenandoah Valley. Nestled on 2.5 acres, our charming home offers a private entrance and a cozy retreat. Step onto the patio to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Blue Ridge Mountains by our smokeless SoloStove fire pit. Adjacent to Cross Keys Farm, surrounded by the Cross Keys Battlefield, history and nature await. We are conveniently located near JMU, Massanutten Resort, wineries, breweries, farms, and downtown Harrisonburg.

Plane View Retreat

You’ll love my place because of the quiet, scenic location. Plane View's in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. We're across the runway from Shenandoah Regional Airport and within 30 minutes of Skyline Drive. There's hiking, white water rafting & Civil War sites nearby. We're 2 hours from Washington DC and Richmond. We have 360 degree mountain views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (w/kids). No wifi, no pets.
