Enjoy the beauty & relaxation that Caddo Lake has to offer at the Kingfisher Cabin. Our tiny home is nestled in the Goose Prairie area, located between 2 boat launches (Crip's Camp & Johnson's Ranch). We have the unique ability to provide MULTIPLE bed configurations to meet guest(s) needs -1 King , 2 twins or 1 twin. There are 2 COMPLEMENTARY kayaks for guest(s) use. Life jackets are required, & use of all equipment is at your own risk. Pets welcome, however we have a 1 pet &20lb size limit.

Lakeside Park and the closest public boat ramp is under a mile away, the historic town of Jefferson is eight miles away, and from there, Caddo Lake is within a twenty-minute drive. Our East Texas area offers so much diversity within a short distance, and The Ranch House is a quiet and comfortable place to use as a home base for all kinds of adventures!

Guest say that our queen-size bed is the most comfortable ever! Conveniently located 1 mile from Interstate 20, 5-10 min town center.

When ready to explore, you're within walking/bike riding distance of the heart of downtown where you'll get to experience a slower pace of life.

Caddo Lake Caboose - - waterfront w pier

The Caddo Caboose was used at the Longhorn Ammunition Plant in Karnack, Texas. When the Army shut the plant down thirty or so years ago, the Caddo Caboose was created with the car being made it into a unique weekend getaway. The Caboose is fully furnished 1 bedroom lodge with living, dining & bathroom areas as well as WiFi, Cable & DVD amenities. All you have to bring is the food you want to cook & your toiletries. A charcoal grill is provided on a private deck overlooking the water.

Come relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. You can get a hook wet from the deck overlooking the water or enjoy a good book on the porch swing. Create memories over a campfire in the pit on the lower deck. Explore the Caddo on kayak or canoe or book a local tour of the lake. Explore the local attractions in nearby Jefferson, Texas. This is the perfect location to unplug and refresh. There is an optional RV Spot available for an additional amount.

The Historic Turner House!

This 1851 home came into the family in 1866. It was won in a Sunday morning poker game by Major James Turner, noted lawyer in Harrison County. The Turner House is in the historic town of Marshall Texas, known for its fabulous Christmas lights fun festivals and minutes away from the Harrison County Courthouse! Just 4 blocks from the center of Marshall, it's a perfect base for exploring East Texas!
