Big Bear’s Den - On Lake Alexander

This spacious home is located on beautiful Lake Alexander just west of Merrill, Wisconsin. Enjoy the tranquil view year-round as you plan the many activities that this location offers. You bring the boat, and we'll supply the dock. Throw in your ski's or wakeboard, and don't forget your fishing poles! Three pound small mouth bass are not uncommon and the monster's of fresh water fish, the musky, are plentiful. Add in walleyes, crappies, northern pike and this location is a fisherman's dream!

Relax and play at this adorable cottage, on the water or on the trails. The Lake Effect on Lower Post Lake gives all the feels. It takes place before you arrive, the nature, the trees, the “up north” vibe. This beautiful lake home greets you with wonderful pine throughout. You can see the lake from the first steps in the door. It's modern and bright. The property sits higher up from the lake giving you an eye-level view of the peaceful surroundings. The cabin combines modern amenities with rustic charm and is set on a beautiful 40-acre property with groomed trails for quiet walks. At night, you can stargaze. There are snowmobile trails across the street, with UTV access on the roads. Perfect for a peaceful getaway!

Relax & unwind in this peaceful, one-of-a-kind upper barn (not handicap accessible) stay in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Blending rustic charm with modern comfort, this kid-friendly retreat features an outdoor play area & a whimsical playhouse. The memorable architecture includes a stunning spiral stairway, crafted from trees harvested on our 4.5-acre property, leading up through a reclaimed silo. Every detail at Friedenswald tells a story. (The spiral stairway is not handicap accessible.)

This home was originally built by hand by our grandfather when he returned from WW2. It has a special place in our hearts, and we are sure it will find one in yours as well. Located in beautiful Tomahawk Wisconsin, our home is 1 walkable mile from the charming downtown and surrounded by multiple river and lake access points, all within a bike ride or short drive. Enjoy the back patio, grill, and yard in the summer, plowed roads and the snowmobile trails 200 yards away in the winter.

There's no shortage of activities to enjoy year-round! There's even free use of kayaks and non-motorized boats on premises in the summer months!

1941 WWII Douglas DC-3 Airliner. Flown by the United States Marines for military transport services between Guam, Midway, and Pearl Harbor.
