Found everything needed for a great family trip to mountainside I would like to recommend this place.

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

rented the place for a business trip with colleagues, was perfect to rest after long days of work. The value for money for 3 or 4 people is great. The host was very proactive and friendly. I will probably come back some other time !

Ida and Torstein are amazing hosts. They showed us the area, shared the history of the place and recommended beautiful hikes around. The house is charming and has plenty of genuine details, which made us curious about the place we had a pleasure to stay in. One can find everything what is needed in the house: kitchen equipment, stunning view from windows, cozy fireplace and positive vibes of slowing down 🥰 The place is definitely highly recommended! Ein schönes und gemütliches Haus mit einer super Ausstattung. Ganz besonders das Klavier und der Kicker-Tisch. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Es ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem kommt man mit der Tram Linie 1 gut in die Stadt oder zum Flughafen ohne Umsteigen zu müssen. Fußläufig ist ein Supermarkt erreichbar. Das Haus ist gut für Familien geeignet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Vi var tre voksne og en hund som tilbrakte to netter hos Olaug. Hjemmet hennes er veldig koselig og har alt du trenger. Mange sengeplasser, stor sofa og stort spisebord. Nydelig hage med mye fugleliv, og fantastisk nærområde. Mye fine turområder i nærheten og. Kommunikasjon og innsjekk uten problemer. Vi kommer nok garantert tilbake. Takk for oss :)

Our stay at Ellis’ home was wonderful! Really beautiful and enjoyable interior as a family: great dining area, comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Ellis was very responsive and helpful. This place is a must!

Basic place. Great quiet spot, easy walk to Bryggen. Great to have washing machine! Also great communication with Trine, who provided an alternative for a very early checkout.

We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town to hike Trolltunga and this place was conveniently located right at the turn off the main street towards the trailhead, about 13 minutes. The host was very communicative and responsive and had local recommendations for us. Everything was great and we would stay here again. Thank you!

Terrific, accomodating, host. Cozy, clean, ground floor, 2-bedroom place located on a busy street butl quiet enough to sleep with no problem. Fantastic location convenient to many cafes, restaurants, bars and attractions. You really can't go wrong staying here while you're in Bergen!

The place could not have been in a better location, literally 50m from the funicular station and only 250 metres from the harbour. The apartment is really spacious for only one bedroom and the lounge/dining area is ideal. We had a couple of niggles during our stay but the host Torstein was very responsive and sorted these in no time at all. Definitely a better option to stay here than a hotel and we would come back again in the future. Overall a great place to stay and could not recommend highly enough.

Oppholdet i leiligheten hos Hanne var et fint sted å bo i gammelt og herlig Bergensmiljø. Greit å komme til med buss, å gå til sentrum og utgangspunkt for turer også med parkeringsplass for bil. Modernisert, rent, velutstyrt og koselig innredet leilighet. Hanne var hyggelig og lett å kommunisere med. Vi trivdes, anbefaler stedet og kommer med glede tilbake!

Vi var to voksne og to barn som skulle tilbringe høstferien i Bergen. Vi var på jakt etter en leilighet med to soverom, litt utfor byen med parkering. Leiligheten til Tor passet oss helt perfekt. Stille og rolig nabolag, nær butikk og busstopp. Leiligheten ble en trivelig base for Bergensoppholdet vårt. Vi ble møtt til avtalt tid for en kjapp gjennomgang. Rent, pent og koselig. Her kommer vi gjerne tilbake ved en annen anledning.

Hadde et kjempe opphold her. Vakre tur muligheter. Absolutt verdi for pengene. Parkering rett ved døra. Trivelige verter.

die geräumige und gut eingerichtete Wohnung ist nur wenige Meter Fjord entfernt. torill war jederzeit und sehr schnell für uns erreichbar. vor der Wohnung gibt es auf der Wiese einen Sitzplatz mit einer gemütlichen Lounge. wir haben einen Ausflug in die Hütte gemacht, welchen und torill empfohlen hat. die Aussicht von dort war derjenigen von stegastein ebenbürtig.

If you want to stay in this accommodation, you'll need a car since it's quite far from the city. The natural surrounding is really calming and a small balcony was perfect for admiring it. The apartment was equipped exceptionally, especially the kitchen, and with 8 people there it was handy. Thanks for your hospitality, Hilde Marie!

Väldigt fin lägenhet, bara 50 m från backen. Bra med sängplatser för 6 personer. Myrkdalen är ett fantastiskt skidområde.

Fin, koselig leilighet rett ved Røldal skisenter og Røldal Terrassen. Vi hadde et kort opphold, og hadde alt vi trengte til en vellykket dag på bakken. Godt utstyrt kjøkken, koselige omgivelser og hjelpsomme verter. Vil gjerne komme tilbake ❄️👋

Marius was an incredible host! Checking in was super smooth thanks to his amazing communication! He was also very kind and provided a lot of recommendations and checked in to make sure our stay was good! His place was very clean and spacious, and the location was absolutely incredible, being located directly in the center of the city. Would definitely recommend Marius’s place to anyone looking to take in the beauty of Bergen, but also have an escape to feel like they’re right at home☺️

Très bien placé pour du ski de fond sur Hovden. Emplacement central, proche de la rivière, des commerces et des restaurants.

Mira’s apartment is so lovely. Just like the photos and description. Spotlessly clean, loads of towels and lovely bedding. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Fab location - 5 minute walk to the gondola and free ski bus to Myrkdalen. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
