Located a 5-minute walk from the centre of the market town of Halesworth with its shops, cafes and arts centre, this family-friendly home is the perfect base to explore the glorious Suffolk countryside and coast. As well as the many beautiful country walks (and country pubs) nearby, the picturesque seaside town of Southwold is only a 20-minute drive away, with its pier, restaurants and beach. Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are a 30-minute drive away. RSPB Minsmere & Dunwich Heath are also nearby.

Birdhaven is a delightful cottage situated on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Wenhaston, just a few miles from Southwold and the Suffolk Coast & Heaths. This charming self-catering cottage offers cosy accommodation with plenty of natural wonders and attractions nearby. It features lovely views of the surrounding picturesque meadows which offer wonderful sunsets. The cottage has a large garden and driveway offering private parking and the woodburner makes it an ideal cosy winter escape.

Peaceful, fully self contained one bed ground floor annex with it's own separate entrance. Ample off street parking on our large private drive. Location; 15 minute walk or a few minutes drive from the town Thoroughfare, 10 minute walk from 'The Cut' Arts Centre, 10 minute drive from Henham Park. Easy access to the A12 for exploring all this lovely area has to offer.

Spend a little time savouring the delights of Suffolk in this little gem of a cottage so close to the beaches of Walberswick and Southwold. Come back to the wood burner in the autumn and winter and a lovely meal cooked for you at the Queens Head just 10 minutes walk away. Our Cottage is pet friendly for one dog, please add this when you make your booking. Due to the authentic nature of the cottage it is not suitable for infants or the infirm with its Suffolk brick flooring.

Zambezi

Zambezi is one of two bespoke wooden built cabins, made using a mixture of sustainably grown softwood, locally sourced hardwood including Oak, Chestnut and Larch together with some reclaimed materials. The cabin has a large veranda on two sides, a spacious open plan kitchen and living room, a separate bedroom and shower room. It is comfortably furnished, well insulated and has electric heating and a wood-burning stove.
