It was a very pleasant experience, the room was located in a very convenient place, you can find supermarket, nice restaurants all in walking distance. The house was clean and cozy, Selma was so nice and always replied in a very short period of time~ will come back again if it is possible~ 5-star recommend!

Hildur’s apartment was the perfect base for our stay in Reykjavik. It is walking distance from the city centre but in a quiet and beautiful part of town. We loved the view of the water and the sunset from the living room. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including for cooking meals. It was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Hildur met us at checkin and left lots of local recommendations. She was very friendly, welcoming and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend a stay! Thank you Hildur 😊

Helga was very welcoming and responsive to any questions I had. She reached out to offer rain gear as there were a few rainy days. The area was great - it was close to everything (very walkable and easy to get around) but was in a quiet area. The apartment was comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay again for another trip to Iceland.

We've stayed here twice now and again it's absolutely amazing, the scenery, the apartment, the host all amazing and nothing to complain about. one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

L'appartement est occupé par les propriétaires en dehors des périodes de location, ce qui en fait un appartement propre, cozy et fonctionnel. Il est assez bien placé proche de la mer et à 20 minutes à pieds du centre historique. Il est également possible de prendre les transports en commun pour aller en ville et au terminal BSI (Bus station). Nous avons apprécié la communication avec le propriétaire qui nous a bien aidé pour organiser notre séjour. Je recommande vivement cet appartement qui a répondu à toutes nos attentes.

We had such a wonderful stay here - this is a cosy farm stay close enough to Reykjavík but far enough to have clear skies to see the Northern Lights if you’re lucky enough. We absolutely loved the kitchen, the coffee moccamaster and having access to a washing machine. A super warm, nicely decorated place and huge bed! Probably one of my favourite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Disa is super lovely and so is Bonzo the dog! Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Iceland ❤️

Me, my wife and our son stayed at Ingiberg’s place for 6 nights on our trip to Iceland. The apartment was very easy to find and we were able to park the car in the allocated bay (inside the garage). It is slightly outside of the main town but providing you don’t mind a walk (35 minutes) like us then it is not a problem at all. The apartment was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Tv and sound system were great for the evenings. Ingiberg was very responsive on messages and even alerted us when the northern lights were on show. Would definitly recommend staying at the apartment to anyone visiting Iceland.

Such a beautiful space in the best part of town! Had a minor miscommunication when we first arrived, but it was quickly and easily resolved. 100% recommend. Certainly didn’t hurt that we saw the Northern Lights from the bedroom balcony!! Absolutely perfect stay!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Islande grâce au camping car. Ce n'était pas celui de l'annonce car il était en réparation. Celui qu'on a eu nous correspondait plus par le nombre de lit. David est un hôte chaleureux et disponible. Je reviendrai vers lui sans hésiter pour un nouveau séjour

Bryndis and her family were wonderful hosts the place was close to some restaurants and the water. It is located in a peaceful section of Reykjavik and a great home base for activities around the capital. It is clean, spacious and the hosts were very responsive.

A fantastic homely place to stay with our family including teenage grandchildren. Great local supermarket and bus service which meant we didn't need a car. Superb views including across the bay to see the erupting volcano! The BBQ and the hot tub were fabulous as was the weather. Outdoor living was just as good as indoors. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available including a well stocked fridge on our arrival. Plenty bedding and towels to facilitate changing everything during our stay.

The views are spectacular and the place is clean , cozy and has everything you might need , we could not have asked for more . Svana was very responsive and nice to communicate with , we felt welcomed and being taken care of every step of the way . Definitely great memories for years to come , hoping to come back during summer . Thank you .

The ocean view from this home was absolutely stunning. The location was great, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shops. The host was incredibly helpful. I had a wonderful stay!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht! Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alles, was man braucht, ist da: eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, ein schöner Wohnbereich, geräumige Badezimmer und bequeme Betten. Besonders toll ist der Hot Pot und die Sauna mit tollem Blick auf die Berge und den Fjord. Wir haben uns völlig wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

I could not have asked for a better place for my family to stay together. Everything was immaculate. It is exactly what was represented on the website. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. I loved the siding door that separated the bedroom area from the rest of the house. I would recommend this place to anyone. Styrmir was kind, helpful, and always responsive and flexible. We had a wonderful visit to Iceland!

The apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable with a lovely view of the little harbor nearby. It provided my son and I with a base to explore many of Iceland's attractions using our car rental. Getting into the city takes about 12 minutes by car and around 45 minute by bus. We opted to cook at home since there's not a lot of restaurants nearby. Generally speaking this was a fantastic place to stay and made our whole week in Iceland stress free and relaxing. The apartment also has great water pressure and lots of warm water!

Soggiorno indimenticabile in una tipica casa islandese. Atmosfera calda e tranquilla. Un'ottima base di partenza per poter visitare tutto il sud ovest dell'isola. Host amichevole e cordiale. A poca distanza da Reykjavik e da molte delle attrazioni turistiche, facilmente raggiungibili in auto. Nei pressi della fermata di autobus e del panificio Brikk, farmacia e centri commerciali. Parecchi ristoranti nella zona, tra cui il famoso Viking. Buoni anche il Krydd e cucina tipica al A.Hansen.

The Harbor Apartment was perfect to visit Reykjavik. It’s clean, comfortably furnished, nicely decorated, and wonderfully warm and inviting on a cold January visit to Iceland. The location was unbeatable, just across the street from the scenic old harbor and near plenty of excellent restaurants and steps from a small market for your daily needs. The host provided voluminous tips on getting around and responded quickly with a work-around when we discovered that the Internet network listed in the check-in instructions was down. We would definitely stay here again. Just one small caveat for light sleepers—the bedroom window is located next to the ground floor elevator and you can occasionally hear the voices of people coming and going, or stomping the snow off their shoes before they get in the elevator.

Rùnar’s home is perfect to rest after an icelandic adventure. It’s warm, comfortable and nice, with an amazing ocean view (we had the chance to contemplete an eruption too!) and good markets near by. There is a delicious little fish market too, at few steps. Reykjavìk is easily reachable by walking (half an hour) or with bus and Seltjarnarnes is a peaceful and welcoming neighborhood. Rùnar and his family are helpful and kind. Thank you for sharing your home!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! We loved the location — it was quiet, but still really close to everything — and the view of the water was beautiful !! The space itself was lovely - clean, open and airy, and had all the basic things we needed. Also— for the parents traveling with young kids— we used the crib, high chair, and was perfect for small kids. Would stay here again!

Snorri and Svava’s Airbnb was so cozy, clean, and in a great location near the city and next to the water. They were so responsive and friendly! I would stay again!

Unnur’s place was absolutely spectacular, and she was an exceptional communicator. She went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed, including a charging adapter upon arrival and extra towels for my comfort. Her communication was truly outstanding.
