Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

De oude Wagenschuur aan de rivier de Lek.

Dit prachtige vakantiehuisje was vroeger een 100 jaar oude wagenschuur, waarvan oude balkenwerk zoveel mogelijk in het zicht is gebleven. Het huisje staat op het erf van onze 400 jaar oude monumentale krukhuis boerderij, waar we wonen met onze schapen, kippen en hond. Het huisje beschikt over een eigen zitje buiten. Tegenover de boerderij zijn de uiterwaarden van de rivier de Lek met de vele leuke kleine strandjes. En op steenworp afstand ligt het gezellige zilverstadje Schoonhoven.

You can also rent an electrically powered rowing boat from us to explore the area from the water.

De hooiberg van de Friese paarden boerderij Aan de Bovenlanden is een compleet ingerichte woning, waar privacy gegarandeerd is. Of je nu op zoek bent naar rust na een dag Amsterdam, wilt gaan wandelen of fietsen, met de kinderen de diverse dieren bezoeken, vissen of golfen. Tevens geschikt voor een langer verblijf. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.
