The Garden Cottage

This is a charming flint cottage in a gorgeous rural setting. This period detached property offers relaxed, comfortable accommodation with unique character. Perfect for weekend getways or working trips. The property is situated with the grounds of a larger house backing onto meadows with sheep grazing and uninterrupted views of Suffolk countryside. The main living area is open plan with a lovely modern kitchen with table and chairs for eating at. A large leather sofa for relaxing and unwinding looking out onto your own private courtyard. In the bedroom a sumptuous king size bed to snuggle into at night and a delightfully quirky en-suite bathroom await you. In the morning enjoy a breakfast of delicious eggs laid by my chickens as I will leave breakfast essentials for you.

The Cartlodge is a cosy 1st floor studio apartment in the beautiful village of Horringer, Bury St Edmunds, bordering the stunning Ickworth House Estate & a 5 minute drive into the historic market town. Private off-street parking & equipped with all the essentials make this an ideal spot for 1 or 2 people visiting the town or exploring the National Trust estate for a short getaway or work trip. Cosy cabin for 2 with electric charging point

Our Cabin offers a cosy independent stay with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bedroom with super-king bed, luxury en-suite shower and utility with additional toilet. This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

Cowslip - 3 bedroom modern country retreat

Cowslip houses three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen diner, dining area and lounge that can accommodate up to six people. The generous open-plan living area leads to a private and secluded outside terrace with stunning views of the meadow. The lodge contains underfloor heating throughout. As a welcome on your arrival, and to make you feel at home right away, we provide complimentary tea, coffee, a small carton of milk, sugar, bread, butter, cooking oil, eggs and a delicious homemade cake.

Pipistrelle - stunning Suffolk village escape

Pipistrelle is a beautiful, purpose-built holiday home in the heart of the peaceful Suffolk countryside. This stunning property overlooks the village green to the front and paddocks to the rear and has been designed with flair and includes many eco-features. The conveniences of the village are just a short stroll away: The Weeping Willow, with its fabulous culinary offering, village shops and a fish and chip shop. It is a 15 minute drive to the historic cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds.

A cosy and stylish home near to the town centre

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This little end of terrace house is situated in a quiet little cul-de-sac close to the centre of the historic and beautiful town of Bury St Edmunds - a 10/15 minute walk at most. My home is neat and stylish and always welcoming whatever the season. If you are coming to stay in summer I have a lovely private garden and if you stay in autumn or winter you will find the house particularly cosy. And I have good parking outside too!

Paddock Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful Thatched Cottage, with a lovely garden. Set in the middle of a family Stud Farm, with Mares and Foals in the surrounding Paddocks. The Cottage is within easy access of Newmarket, the home of racing, and the market town of Bury St Edmunds. Cambridge is in easy reach with good train links to London and easy access to Stansted airport. The cottage is set off a quiet country lane with good walking and bike rides to the local villages.

Newly Thatched Buttercup Cottage, Hartest

Buttercup is a newly thatched cottage situated in the picturesque village of Hartest, Suffolk. A large private garden with a footbridge across the stream leads to the open countryside and endless footpaths. One of which takes you to the superb village pub, only a 4 minute walk away and renowned for its great food and their own brewed craft beers. The beautiful historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, and villages Long Melford and Lavenham are just a short drive away.

Our charming rural retreat has flexible accommodation for 6/7 adults PLUS small children. Modern kitchen & bathroom. Private staircases lead to Bedroom 1 - double bed + single Zedbed on request. Bedroom 2 - twin beds. En-suite WCs to both. The Garden Room is EITHER Bedroom 3 (with kingsize bed OR 2 singles) OR an additional sitting room. Travel Cot available. Sitting Room has a log burner for WINTER evenings. Secure, private, sunny rear garden with lawn and patios.

Your home away from home

The house was tastefully decorated in July 2023 and comprises of a full kitchen, king bedroom with shower ensuite and a double bedroom with shower/bathroom to suit up to four guests. Located a 30 min stroll to the Abbey Gardens, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the many restaurants/cafes of Bury St Edmunds. The house is also only a 30 min walk to the West Suffolk Hospital, so is an ideal base whether it be to explore Bury or to visit patients or work at the hospital.

A beautiful country setting, just 3 miles from Bury St Edmunds. The property has 4 bedrooms (one superking plus en-suite and one king plus en-suite on the first floor, one king and one double on the ground floor) the property also has ample parking within the gated farm. The property also benefits from its own rear garden. A large fully appointed kitchen with full suite of white goods, large living room with wood-burning stove and underfloor heating throughout.

Get away from it all at The Little Owl. A unique and tranquil cottage in the Suffolk countryside with a hot tub bath and amazing views. A romantic getaway for two, or a peaceful hideaway for some space on your own. The property is on its own private land and is not a shared space with the owners, or overlooked. The downstairs space includes a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and the upstairs has a cosy living space with log burner and bedroom.
