If you want somewhere quiet, peaceful, private, and a break form the hustle and bustle of city life, then this place is perfect. Me and my wife stayed for 2 days after our wedding, before flying out to our honeymoon. After our stay we’ve both said we’ll be coming back for sure. The host Sarah is extremely welcoming. She sent a full explanation of the check in process, and full videos explaining everything we neeeded to know about the place. As for the place, small but perfect for a couple or a small family. Swimming pool jacuzzi, surrounded by greenery, peace, and horses. MK town centre only 15 minutes drive away, so great for if you start missing city life, for restaurants, shopping, cinima etc I would recommend 100%

I was very impressed with Manor Cottage which was clean, comfortable and very peaceful. It is set in the semi formal garden of the Manor House which leads onto open county side with well marked public footpaths/access. Daniel and Angela were very responsive and got back to me on any queries I had straight away. It has all the facilities that are needed in addition to private use of the pool and Shetland ponies, chickens and ducks which you can visit if you wish! I will definitely visit again. I only wish there were more bedrooms so I could share how lovely this place is with more of my family/friends.

The property is very private and set in a beautiful garden with an extremely comfortable bed. We loved hearing all the birds including nesting geese and one morning the owners chickens and ducks were nibbling grass on the lawn which was enchanting. Very kind hosts who made us feel welcome and encouraged us to explore the garden. Happy to recommend and would be delighted to have a return visit.

Amazing weekend Full access to all facilities Exceptionally clean Exactly as described Tanya greeted us on arrival and we had a lovely chat about the property and she told us everything we needed to know, including a few local recommendations. We visited Ardeley Farm which was a straight 20 minute walk down the lane and fed the animals. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours. We also visited the Jolly Waggoner which is just opposite the farm and had a delicious Sunday Roast. We were able to use the pool, sauna, hot tub and barbecue during our entire stay. Everything was super easy with clear instructions left from Tanya. The board games on offer were a lovely touch! There was a luxurious feel to all aspects and made for a wonderful relaxing girls weekend.

We had a lovely few days at the Pool House. Started off by a great welcome from Marlies, who quickly showed us around and gave us a few restaurant recommendations. The additional welcome from one of the family dogs the next day as we left for a walk was an great bonus! The Pool House is completely private and the hosts will leave you to it. They did ask if we needed more tea or coffee when we passed them one day. The pool and hot tub were in use most days, and great for a spot of bird watching and plane spotting during the day, and star gazing at night. The property was spotless and cannot fault it at all. There isn't an oven, but a microwave is available for cooking. We enjoyed food from the Manor nearby and there are plenty of delivery options. There are a few lovely walks nearby and a bus stop yards from the property for a quick journey into Oxford. We would love to come back and will recommend to friends and family.

I didn’t stay personally, but my partner and daughter went there for a weekend, the place is wonderful, especially if you have dogs. Beds are comfortable and all round reports were positive. The only things worth a mention I suppose our lack of Wi-Fi/phone reception and also if you are driving a van the people on the gate can be quite unhelpful. Probably best mentioning it in advance so the owner can have a word but my family loved it and would happily go back 😊

Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!
