40 acre woods: A Catskills home in a National Park

Welcome to the 40-Acre Woods. Situated 2hrs from NYC, nestled in the Catskill Mountains and surrounded by Federally protected land, this former sheep farm has now been converted into a stunning barn-style cabin. The property is on 40+ acres, surrounded by an additional 80+ acres used as an Eagle Sanctuary. Enjoy a day’s hike, a soak in the hot tub, followed by sitting around the many fire pits while star gazing, roasting marshmallows, telling stories, and enjoying a glass of wine or bourbon.

The Waterfall Casita: A-frame with 30ft Waterfall

Nestled among Hemlock trees & steps from a 30 ft waterfall is our cozy A-frame cabin. Sitting on 33 private acres connected to state land, enjoy waterfall views while sipping coffee in front of the fireplace. The casita was intentionally designed to feel like a home away from home. In summer, cool off in the waterfalls & private streams, in autumn take in the stunning foliage & in winter ski/snowboard at Belleayre (25 mins away). Alder Lake & the Pepacton Reservoir fishing are a 10 min drive.

The Laurel Cabin

Tucked away in the serene Catskill mountains, this charming cabin has undergone a recent top-to-bottom renovation. Located just a short 5-min stroll from the vast expanse of the 30,000-acre Sundown Wild Forest, you'll discover endless trails, picturesque waterfalls, and abundant wildlife to explore. Additionally, within a mere 20-minute drive lies the stunning Minnewaska and Mohonk. We warmly welcome up to two well-behaved, non-aggressive dogs, although we regretfully cannot accommodate cats

Stunning Passive Solar Cabin on 135 acres & pond

Just the perfect cabin. This newly built, passive solar house has a wood-burning stove, incredible views and is drenched with light. The house is intimate yet connected to the outside, with total seclusion and every imaginable modern convenience! It’s an architect-designed marvel of concrete, glass and reclaimed wood that sits on 135 acres of field and forest with a lovely swimming pond and miles of hiking trails. The cabin sleeps up to 6 people in two bedrooms and a spacious sleeping loft.

This charming Aframe is tucked into the Catskill mountains, with spectacular seasonal views of the Rondout Reservoir. This house is cozy with rustic charm and is the perfect getaway nature-lovers. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the many hiking trails and waterfalls just a short drive away. A sanctuary for goats, animal lovers can visit with over 30 rescues during their stay. Art materials and yoga mats are provided to round out a perfect escape for you to unwind, rest, relax and heal.

Modern Riverside Retreat with Firepit, Hot tub

Come enjoythe oasis on the pristine headwaters of the Neversink River with huge backyard, river access, and great kitchen amenities. Offers four bedrooms, and two large baths with bright, sunny living areas. You won't be roughing it! We have a large outdoor stone firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, a hot tub, quiet trails for private walks, and all the nature you love. There are three outdoor seating areas for meals and relaxation, a woodstove, and a picture perfect kitchen.

The Metsämökki - A Finnish Cabin in the Woods

The Metsämökki is a small Finnish cabin in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Originally a sauna that was shipped here from Finland. We renovated it to a tiny house that offers complete privacy. Enjoy the babbling brook while sitting on the deck and taking in the surrounding nature.
