Tintenbarn is a custom designed, brand new barn-style accommodation with queen bed , outdoor concrete tub, full kitchen , laundry , outdoor shower and rustic style decor. It is surrounded by lush gardens, bird life and serenity. You'll have everything you need to relax, unwind, rest and absorb the Byron Hinterlands and surrounds. It's located in a quiet but central location close to Alstonville, Ballina, Newrybar, Lennox head, and Byron Bay. Our closest beach is Lennox Head and is 10 mins away.

Private Hinterland Retreat

Escape to 100 acres of breathtaking hinterland at Olliea Estate, where modern design blends with natural beauty and off-grid living. Wake to a family of koalas behind the house, wander private trails to a hidden waterfall, and relax by the fireplace or soak in the outdoor bath. Surrounded by fruit trees, farm animals, & abundant wildlife, you’re just 10 mins from cafés, pubs, markets, breweries, roasters, and the rail trail, and close to Alstonville, Byron, Ballina, Lismore, Casino, and Lennox.

Huge Bedroom, Bathroom, Patio, Private Access

Large quite private room with ensuite and walk in robe, plus outdoor area. Attached to the main house, you have your own entrance, and space. Located next to a large shopping complex and only down the road from Southern Cross University. Centrally located to Lismore 5 mins, Ballina and Lennox 20 mins and Bryon 40 mins away. Come and explore the beautiful environs of the Northern Rivers. Pets are welcome, just check with me first before booking. However, they are not allowed inside the room.

Number 1 Robinson Ave

Your studio apartment is completely self contained and not under the same roof as my house , but it is part of the building . You have your own entrance and exclusive use of a section of the timber deck . The space is lockable via the one entry door and security lights are installed outside . The setting is in a very quiet street and next to a beautiful little park , which is home to many birds , a pair of brush turkeys and the occasional koala . Lismore’s CBD is only 4 minutes drive away .

Crane Cottage - a cute and private studio

The studio is located at the rear of the main house and faces away from it so is quiet and private. There is rear lane entry and covered parking for your vehicle. Amenities include: wifi; a kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker; separate bathroom; tv and dvd player; air conditioning; and a ‘5 star’ king size bed (super comfy!). Basics such as teabags, coffee, milk, and sugar are provided. There is a SPAR supermarket, bottle shop, post office and laundromat 200 metres away.

Flame Trees Cabin - Hinterland Garden Retreat
