Welcome to 'Tales of 1943' A property where 3-generations of my family were raised and today has been converted & renovated with modern and stylish interiors and amenities for you to experience. Located in the heart of Shillong city, this independent Assam-type home has been around for more than 80 years and is perfect for anyone looking for an escape. Private entry included and a balcony area with a view overlooking the local neighborhood. The setup includes 2 bedrooms with one double sized bed each, a living room with couch and sofa, a fairly large kitchen with dining table + chairs as well as basic amenities provided, one Western style toilet with adjoined bathroom and an adjacent Indian style toilet.

The room has Twin Beds to accommodate 2 people and an extra diwan bed for lounging. The house is located 3 km from the city centre. Transport, ATMs cafes bars restaurants, shopping and other amenities are within easy reach. i Backroads provide for good walks from this place.

we r located in lower Lauchimere next to mama Margret this is a peaceful place in the heart of Shillong wards Lake is in between us and police bazar and cathedral is in between us and laitumkhrah both are 15 min walk from our place or it's 1 km..... u will be located in a very peaceful residential area with a small creek running behind the property which is a shared patio.... thank you for ur patience
