Cozy Trailside Nordic Forest Cottage

Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Sylvan Chalet, Modern, Lakefront, Close to Trails

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. We have a NEMA 15-40R outlet for level 2 EV charging. You bring chord and adapter

Lily Pad on Muskie Lake

The Lily Pad on Muskie Lake in Springstead is in the heart of the Northwoods. Come relax, slow down, and recharge. Muskie Lake is a private lake that is almost 100 acres. In the summer we have kayaks and in the winter we are less than a mile from Trail 8 and 8a. There are 7 restaurants within 13 miles, thousands of acres of water, millions of acres of woodlands, XC trails galore, 10 waterfalls in Iron Co, 7 ski hills within 90 minutes, or curl up in the newly remodeled cabin and unwind.

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. At 700sq ft, it's intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Copper Falls Cabin sits on 80 acres directly adjacent to Copper Falls State Park near Mellen, WI. The renovated rural farmhouse features 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Copper Falls State Park is right out your door, and places like Bayfield and the Apostle Islands National lakeshore are within an hour’s drive. This is your perfect basecamp to explore the South Shore of Lake Superior in both Wisconsin and the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Canoe Cabin in Mercer

Built in 2022/2023 this cabin is located right on the Manitowish River with 750ft of frontage right off Highway 51 about 3 miles south of Mercer and 7 miles north of Manitowish Waters. The Manitowish River runs into the Bear River which is why the resort is named Twin Rivers Resort. We are located right by the snowmobile, UTV/ATV and hiking/biking trails. You can easily visit small local towns with bars, restaurants and shopping.

Trapper Lake Cabin

Experience the magic of northern Wisconsin at our cozy family cabin on Trapper Lake - a quiet, peaceful, 80-acre lake just north of Lake Namekagon. Our spot is 15 miles from the ski and mountain bike trails at Mt. Telemark Village, seven miles from the CAMBA Namekagon cluster of mountain bike trails and 30 miles from Lake Superior. Find ample opportunities for adventure or just a chill spot to soak up lake life.

Public use of the indoor pool for a nominal daily fee in the Whitecap hotel is available nearby.
