Nikollaq was a very responsive and helpful host. The house was superbly located, near the castle and within easy walking distance of a host of restaurants and bars. Highly recommend.

Ultimate value for money! Conveniently located within walking distance from the Old City. Superb private balcony with spectacular view. The house was spotless, very quiet and very well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, we were extremely happy to interact with both Mr Socrates and Mrs Efthalia!! Great people! Highly recommended place, we will probably choose it again on our way back.

Nice shady, plant covered terrace. Inside was spacious and comfortable and well supplied with toiletries, kitchen equipment etc. The garage to park in was very useful for our small car. Check in worked very well, the properties cleaner was there to welcome us with Kristina on the phone to pass on information required in English. Quietly situated, close to amenities with a walk up to the old part of town, taxis are easily available if you don't want to walk. Lots to see and do in Gjirokaster, castle, bazaar, museums, bars and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

DON'T hesitate...book. this place is unreal. It is so unique. The little touches and the ambiance set this place apart. The host is amazing. So very accommodating.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Right in the heart of the old town, just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. Lovely views of the mountains and Ottoman houses from the terrace. Be aware that the road is very steep. As 3 people in our 60s (one with arthritis) we could manage it but it was a struggle, especially with suitcases. The parking space was invaluable (most streets too narrow for on street parking). Theofilos family were very helpful and the neighbours all friendly. Highly recommended! One warning - if you are a timid driver, avoid driving round the old town - the narrow streets, poor signage, steep slopes and hectic traffic can be very stressful!

A perfect place - especialy for traditional, rural style lovers. Quiet and nice. The beds are very clean and comfortable. The way to the beach is rather difficult to walk. Theodora is very kind and helpful. When she is not around, her neighbours Felleza and Mili care for the place and are willing to help.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Rudina’s place in Gjirokastër! I stayed with my family, and from the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and at home. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. Rudina was an exceptional host – kind, responsive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. She even gave us great local tips that made our stay even more special. The location is ideal, within walking distance to the old bazaar and the castle, yet peaceful enough to enjoy quiet family time. We had a great time at the apartment. Everything was neat, and we really enjoyed the balcony and the view over the mountains. The city is gorgeous! So many things to do and to explore. Great restaurants with excellent food and the kindest people!

Our stay in Gjirokaster was wonderful. We had some transportation issues getting to the area during the day and so arrived very late in the night. We notified Evi and she was very responsive and accommodating. She greeted us upon our arrival and was extremely friendly despite the late hour. The apartment was clean and matched the description. About a 10 min walk from the Old Bazaar. My only complaint is that there is no barrier on the shower so the entire bathroom floor gets wet any time you shower. Evi checked on us daily throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. She also gave us recommendations for places to eat, and for a nearby supermarket. They made our stay stress free! Will definitely book with them again if we are ever in the area.

We really enjoyed staying at Denisa's place and were glad we booked for several nights. it's close enough to the centre of town but still feels secluded. The apartment was well equipped and cosy, and Denisa was a very welcoming host. we especially enjoyed the fruits and raki!

Un bon logement dans la ville de Girokaster. Le centre est accessible à pied et très mignon. C'est une rue un peu passante mais cela ne nous a pas forcément dérangé. Je recommande, Ani était très gentille et réactive !

We loved this place. It's very cute inside, and the location is super central, but it's far enough from the main intersection of the old town to feel quiet and private. The interior is beautiful and we'll decorated, with good linens and towels. The area is beautiful, with tons of things to explore in and around Gjirokaster. Tony, Edit's brother, was helpful and showed us around town, and gave recommendations of other places to visit. We'll be back!

Wir wurden unglaublich toll empfangen und umsorgt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und die Kommunikation mit der Familie war herzlich! Die Unterkunft liegt sehr hoch und die Einfahrt zum Parkplatz war sehr herausfordernd aber auch da wurden wir gut unterstützt. Der Ausblick von dort ist phantastisch-es lohnt sich!

My wife and I stayed three nights in this apartment. The photos on the website are accurate and the apartment is very good value. It was very cold during our stay at the end of November and we were very pleased that Altin provided modern portable heaters and lots of blankets. The bathroom has a very welcomed heater. As others have mentioned, Athenia who gave us the key and showed us the apartment was very nice, but she does not speak any English. We were able to address some items by using hand gestures, but for more involved items we needed to e-mail Altin. He was usually very quick to respond to our questions. If you are arriving by bus, you may want to take a taxi to the apartment to avoid the climb up the cobblestone streets.

Our stay was really great, the place is quite calm but 15-20 walk from the center. Their is a parking spot in the house so very practical. Devi is very communicative and is here for any questions. I recommend.

Hele behulpzame en vriendelijke verhuurder. Het appartement was modern en van alles voorzien. Het oude centrum was erg makkelijk te bereiken.

L'appartement est conforme à la description, propre et bien situé. Par contre, il est difficile à trouver avec le peu d'informations données par l'hôte. Il faut chercher sur Google Maps le point Gps "Apartments Antigona" si vous voulez éviter les côtes à 20% et les rues pavés.

We really enjoyed our stay at Katerina’s place. It was in a drivable distance from the city’s center and offered quiet respite from the noise. Katerina was generous enough to accommodate our last minute need to change the dates of our stay, for which we were extremely grateful. Everything in the apartment was as listed, though it’s worth noting that the AC unit is in the living room not the bedroom, a fact that we missed, however a fan is provided. The place was clean and well furnished. We recommend staying here!
