Great restaurants are nearby, or make use of our original 1950s efficiency kitchen and dine al fresco. You’re surrounded by wineries, farm markets and even a candy store. C&O Canal/Potomac River cottage

Located just steps away from Dam #4 on the C&O Canal / Potomac River. (marker 84.6) Perfect for a getaway or romantic weekend. Hike/bike the C&O Canal, bring your kayak/canoe/bikes, fish or swim in the river. Sit on the porch and listen to the rumble of the water falling over the dam. Local lore is this was the home of a canal lock keeper or the gate house keeper. Secluded location away from town. NOT A PARTY HOUSE/owner on site in garage apartment. Inquire if a blocked day is available.

Private Cottage on Horse Farm with covered porch

Now using UV technology to clean which uses extra time to sanitize and ventilate see new check in/out. Lovely cottage enjoy amazing sunsets from the back porch with first floor eat in kitchen- full refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee bar and grill. The living room features a comfy sofa and chair for reading with queen sofa bed and tv, 1st floor full bath walk in shower. 2nd floor has a lofted ceiling with a queen bed, vanity, tv, desk and chair. Our location offers easy access to all the exciting activities and attractions the eastern panhandle has to offer, enjoy a short country side drive to dining, shopping, hiking trails, white water rafting and kayaking adventures. The historic town of Harpers Ferry is a short 25-minute drive away, and 15 minutes to Antietam Battlefield.

Mom's Cottage

Mom's Cottage sits on the shore of Lake Kay in the shadow of Liberty Mountain. Gettysburg battlefield is ten miles away and two golf courses are nearby. Jacks Mountain Road covered bridge, Michaux State Forest, including the Appalachian Trail, Pine Grove Furnace, and Caledonia SP are nearby. Other local features include Mount St. Mary's, Cunningham Falls SP, and Catoctin Mountain Park. A paddle boat and two kayaks are available.
