Looks onto big family garden, feels like a country retreat but only 15 minutes' easy and beautiful river walk from city centre. Well behaved pets welcome. Should the annex be booked for your preferred dates, do look up our shepherds hut. Please note that ‘cancelled dates’ mentioned in the March 2020 reviews were due to government Covid regulations - not us!

The cabin is located in a back garden design so that it can’t be seen into by the house or neighbours. It can be accessed from a private lane and has parking for two cars, this peaceful and centrally-located place. The cabin has a projector and screen it can be used as a bedroom or living area, shower and toilet area are open plan. There is a fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer, coffee machine and kettle.

A delightful village, two miles from the centre of York, close to racecourse. Home to the Archbishop of York, close to the river and on the sustrans 65 cycle path. We have a coop, post office, excellent butchers, cafe, three pubs and a club. The village is served by the number 11 bus with a regular service every half hour to and from the city.
