Our lake access is close enough to bike/walk, but we prefer to drive into the access w/all of our gear! @ the gated access you will find a swimming area, boat launch, grills, screened in & open pavilion, and a playground. You’ll see bison grazing by the house, chickens roaming, and hear the occasional MOOOOOO of a cow. A short drive to Callaway Gardens & Roosevelt Park. Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . An hour South of Atlanta, the cabin is not primitive, it has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.
