Urban Tranquilatree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

Our elegant and peaceful garden lodge has stunning sea views and is located a 5 minute walk from two long Blue Flag beaches, Garrettstown and Garrylucas. The renowned gourmet town of Kinsale is less than ten minutes by car and the airport is just a 30 minutes drive. The local area is a mecca for surfers, swimmers, cyclists, golfers and those who just want to go for long peaceful walks on many local beaches. The local village is Ballinspittle, which offers all the basics and a few surprises.

Relax and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tide overlooking Croagh Bay located just inside the iconic Fastnet Lighthouse. Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

Rebecca"s farm shop and cafe is a 5 minute walk. Vibrant farmers markets and the many restaurants in this area celebrate the wonderful local produce from land and sea.
